I've got a secret, we've got A SONG!?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
Don't let people gaslight you into thinking that your passions are meaningless, that they're unrealistic. A lot of things are unrealistic.
Getting a degree from a prestige college is unrealistic for many people, finding a job that can help you own a house. Having a stable home environment feels unrealistic for some people.
It's not that I don't understand that life can take over but you should never give up on what you love doing. Even if it doesn't become a full time profession, just create because that's a vital part of the human pulse.
Art makes the world go round. Movies, architecture, literature, music are some of the most important expressions of the human condition that we have and for society to discourage artists from their passion is so disheartening.
Why do we, as a society, shame artists for following their path? When art makes up most of the world's structure. Are we afraid they might be able to forge their own path and not be under the thumb of some pointless 9-5? Is it because people are a greater asset when they're suppressed and compliant?
I understand that sometimes it can be out of concern, if it's advised to a loved one but we shouldn't make people afraid to pursue their own happiness. We collectively shame artists and creatives for simply wanting to rebel and create w/o clocking into another pointless shift, for a job that will either fire them or force them into compliance.
A lot of people out there are starving for purpose and that is the one purpose they have. To strip that away from someone is anti human.
We need art more than ever, with all of this automated and generated content, we need art more than ever. We need that creative spirit to rise up and say "NO! I don't want this!"
And that's what they don't want, the oligarchs, the oppressors, the colonizers, they don't want your rebellion. They want your compliance.
They want people to be weak, insecure and always questioning themselves because that's the "adult" thing to do. It's a lie! Not that being an adult isn't stressful but that it has to be this way, that you can't find things to make you happy is a lie. You can still create, you can still pursue.
It's not too late, it never is. As long as you are still here and have a pulse, you have the pulse to create. I don't care what you look like, who you are or whatever, make that song, paint that picture. You're a beautiful soul, bleeding with expression. I'm 1000% being serious.
I'm gonna be making music, I am not gonna market it here but I will and I won't let anyone deter me from that path. I'll make the money I need to, put the work in and one day be successful. Hopefully. Probably not but I still wanna do it.
A lot of you are probably young. So don't let them lie to you. Your art MEANS something. It's what makes the world feel complete, it's what gives us our buildings, the design of our tables, cabinets, the designs on jars of food, paintings, film, etc.
Never give up. Please never give up.
Y'all feel this way too? Like colors don't pop like they used to, smells aren't as strong as they once were, sounds...well, sounds are still the same. Where'd the fragrance of the air go? Where'd all the vibrant, sunny days go? It feels like I'm barely experiencing life anymore, I still experience heavy emotions but the rest of it just feels so distant. Sometimes it comes back and you have a Ratatouille moment.
Hey all, so I've been posting theories for fun on and off here. Mainly cause MCR keeps inviting it but I wanted to talk about what MCR is doing this all for.
Because people are quite confused and I believe MCR has a clear message here or a satire and that is about their reunion.
Long Live is about the band coming back from the dead to perform more shows, much like they did back in 2019. I think this entire tour is about that.
I think Draag is supposed to represent how they see modern society and their place in that, as a band and product. It also represents My Chemical Romance as a brand, what it had become without their involvement. It's corporate, it's controlled by higher ups and sterilized. It's a machine that pumps out the same hits, time and time again. Even when they get abused, they still have to get up and perform.
The Dictator is the label. He's making them come back to push products. The Clerk is the fans and how MCR sees the audience and artist's exchange. That's why the band were performing for The Clerk in LATAM and why Gerard and Clerk kill each other. They both sacrifice something in the end.
I think that's why they also started teaming up at the end, it's their way of saying they're on our side. Once The Clerk becomes a Draag official, he becomes part of the system and starts abusing his favorite band. We become unknowingly part of a system, that exploits artists.
That's why they do things like push Dodger Dogs and brand new cars, it's part of the act. Watching your heroes sell a car on TV.
It's exactly what a band like My Chemical Romance is against and exactly what they had spoken up about during WWWY 2022 or earlier, during Danger Days. They've only said it so many times, for people paying attention.
The tour lore has nothing to do with the original album and I think that's on purpose. Like the post's title says, I think this is really about My Chemical Romance returning and they're using The Black Parade persona, as a vehicle to tell this story. It's about how they feel about themselves and the world around them.
It's also why the world needs them. Gerard said back in 2018 that times were getting dark because of a certain someone and that is why MCR were almost gonna get back together. MCR coming back to an authoritarian dystopia? Sounds about right. They need to exist as a band again for that message, for that light. Otherwise, they wouldn't be here. They have to rebel and fight for a better future. They must free themselves of Draag.
Again, that's why they do stuff, like get slapped around or kill people in Elexecutions. They're literally sacrificing themselves and us!
Hell, the shows literally have them punch in for a time loop. In my eyes, that's quite clearly parodying how bands are exploited by labels and how the cycle can start to feel repetitive, like you're stuck in a time loop.
MCR as a band, has always been about death, right? Bullets, Revenge, Parade, even Danger Days, all had themes of loss. The death of yourself, a loved one or a thing.
Like Black Parade is about a cancer patient, it's about his journey through the crossroads to get to the afterlife. He meets characters like Fear, Regret, Mother War, etc and learns the value of his life.
So what does it mean for a band, who's all about death, to come back from the dead?
Here, they're coming back from certain death (they perished in flames supposedly), to perform, against their own wishes. Against the health of themselves or their audience.
It's a parody of the My Chemical Romance reunion. They died, they reunited and now they get to push shitty products to you.
A game you will play, indeed.
A concert film has been rumored for years now and this would be the perfect chance to do so. What if at the end of this tour, My Chemical Romance announced a movie that was like Led Zeppelin's The Song Remains The Same?
It would be a cross between narrative and concert footage. It'd have both the North American and Latin American shows, cut between story bits and music videos.
PHANTOM happens at the end of Sleep, when they're done having the experiments conducted on them. The robot voice repeats "pigs have apples, not tomatoes, on mars" aka PHANTOM. I think that's how they awaken them after their experiment. Think like The Winter Soldier
With all the recent drama, I wanna say most and foremost that I just miss this game. This game was pivotal to my childhood and it sucked to see it just die because some jerks decided to DDOS attack a game, which they had notoriously stolen levels from.
I wish there was some way to just get a job at Media Molecule and beg them enough times into letting trusted fans run the server but it's just not happening and with all of the drama around LBPOnline's failure, I'm saddened at the state of this game that I love so much.
This is just to express my love of music and my hopes that I can one day record something I'm proud of. Every genre has something cool to offer, there's really nothing you shouldn't have on your sonic palette.
There's a real discipline to writing structures, things can get really messy if you're not keeping a consistency and even learning to cut things back. I've learned to love simplicity more and more over time and appreciate where it belongs in the song structure. So many songs depend on a really basic hook or riff and that's okay because there's complexity within the way they structure said song.
Ever since I was a baby, I'd loved music and played it. I used to listen to Baby Mozart, Queen and play a little light up piano then it moved onto guitar, more piano, tambourine whatever I could get my little hands on. My cousins used to let me play their electric guitar, which I didn't know how to strum initially being like 6 years old. I even had a fake band named Snakes lol
Now I listen to everything from The Marvelettes to Denzel Curry and make music as a hobby. it's all blueprints and scraps but I know what it's supposed to sound and look like.
Trying to mix the Alternative sides of Pop and Rock together. That's all that matters to me and one day soon I'll execute it properly, with the right resources.
Do any of you make music and what does music mean to you?
They keep teasing it. We have two symbiotes
Give the one from NWH to Tombstone, who will equip Mac Gargan with it
Give the one from TLD to Peter during Secret Wars
When Spider-Man 5 rolls around, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) will be part of the new rebooted universe.
Have them crossover, Eddie gets the symbiote back
Now we have Spider-Man and Eddie Brock Venom vs Mac Gargan Venom
