For the 1000th time, we need to have an option to absorb adjacent regions

I can’t for the life of me convey how much my motivation tanks when I need to start a whole new settlement in a newly conquered region.

Even having the option to only absorb one adjacent region due to technical limitations or potential pathfinding issues would help significantly.

Is it just me or is pathfinding cooked in this beta version?

This is the first time I've picked up manor lords in months and I'm loving a lot of the new mechanics, along with the added value of resources, but its bizarre to see ox handlers or anyone guiding an ox stopping, taking a step, then stopping again as they make their way to an ox.

In addition for multiple construction projects ongoing, I'll have the highest priority buildings neglected, or something to take months and months to build despite having ample families (1-3) ready to build

It's a shame becasue I was really enjoying my experience so far, but the pathfinding issues for villagers, especially ox handlers, is really holding back

Eagerly anticipating the bond fide patch, but this is not it right now

(Owen Phillips) Summer League Stats You Can Trust - 2025 Summer League Analysis

Seeing some concern over Bradley during his SL performance and some crazy euphoria for guys like Bittle and Graves. Owen Phillips did a statistical analysis comparing summer league performance with NBA rookie performance and found that some stats translated while others didn't. Good examples of SL stats that stuck in NBA rookie season included:

  • 3 pt attempt
  • Assists
  • Blocks
  • Rebounds

Also notable for stats that did NOT stick in the NBA

  • 3pt %
  • 2pt %
  • TS %
  • eFG%

Has anyone done some analytics or modeling on how summer league translates to NBA impact to sift through the noise?

Seeing either a lot of excited fanbases or very dejected fans after summer league. The variance seems very high and all over the place in terms of players being able to replicate anything resembling their SL impact

Has anyone taken SL numbers and plugged them into a model to compare, in the aggregate, how different players' impact is in the NBA?

Raptors Onion: Kawhi Leonard claims he was 'here the whole time' in Toronto since 2019, and that you didn't just notice

Since being spotted at the Toronto Raptors' July 14 Summer League Game, the LA Forward Kawhi Leonard has claimed to have been a loyal part of the Toronto Raptors team this whole time since the 2018-19 Championship season, but that 'you clearly were focused on the wrong things.'

Despite living in L.A. and being actively part of the LA Clippers roster since his historic championship run, Leonard has vehemently argued that he had actually been part of the Raptors this whole time, was shopping at Loblaws, and also hates Rob Ford, or whichever fat guy is the Mayor of Ontario.

"What do you mean I'm not part of the team? I've seen guys come and grow, and watched guys like Scottie, Norm, and Jodie Meeks grow leaps and bounds."

Star Forward Scottie Barnes, bemused, seemed to reluctantly accept that Kawhi maybe was around for the last seven years, including the team's historically poor seasons in Tampa Bay and disappointing showings in play-in games.

When pressed if his recent appearances with the Raptors was an attempt to deflect from his controversial time in LA and accusations of cap circumvention, Leonard broke into what could best be described as a chortling laugh before pointing at himself shouting "remember the press conference?! AH-HA HA!”

Robert Yang lives in downtown Toronto off of Spadina, and thought he could recall the moments of disappointment when he found out Kawhi signed with the Clippers in 2019, and the shadenfreude of finding out about the Aspiration scandal in summer 2025.

"Jeez I thought for sure I can recall that agonizing feeling finding out Kawhi didn't want to stay and then never hearing about anything remotely related to Toronto from Kawhi since. But he's here now, so fuck it. Maybe I was just not paying attention after all."

Kawhi, concluded the interview by saying, "I'm just ready for this off-season to be over and look forward to continuing what was definitely an uninterrupted period of time in Toronto, retiring as one of the longest tenured Raptors in franchise history, and working with Prime Minister Trudeau and Masai to promote the game of basketball in Canada."

At press time, Kawhi was seen with Raptors GM Bobby Webster reviewing contracts for no-show opportunities for Québecois sugar shacks for the upcoming season

Editor's Note: The title of the article should read: "Kawhi Leonard claims he was 'here the whole time' in Toronto since 2019, and that you just didn't notice."

The writer has since been sacked for this egregious error, and banished to New Orleans as the Pelicans beat writer

How did Allied soldiers during WWII in the Pacific Theatre view those in the European Theatre and vice versa? Was there any prejudice between the two?

Given how different the warring experience was between these two theatres, did the soldiers between the two theatres see each other differently? Did European theatre soldiers see their counterparts as just unlucky or did it produce any prejudice between the two soldiers

How often were soldiers in World War 2 removed from frontlines due to mental health reasons?

In Band of Brothers and the Pacific, there are prolific instances where characters are removed either permanantly or for an extended period of time due to PTSD or anxiety-induced physical symptoms brought on by to the mental toll of war.

Do we have access to data or research on how prolific this was, when this happened, and how this was received by other soldiers and armies during the Second World War?
