hello everyone, I am from a city recently affected earthquake in the philippines. (general santos) After the 7.8 disaster, may I ask if it is normal to experiences multiple small earthquakes even after the “big one”? thankfully all of my family are fine. however the aftershocks are so many that Im genuinely curious if there are any additional information that can explain this phenomenon aside from the fact that this country is on the ring of fire. thank you very much! Also we were on the beach when the 7.8 happened. May I also ask why there is no tsunami that happened? (thank God however, I mean this is just another genuine question for science).

• 5'11, mixed heritage (Spanish on my great-grandmother's side), and apparently good-looking — or so people tell me 😄 (Pure Filipino)
• Currently working in academia, with possible plans to move abroad in the near future
• ENFJ, Gemini ♊
• Into gaming — big on Space Marine 2 and Resident Evil. Down to play together if we vibe and my schedule allows!
• I run! My proudest milestone was 10 km at an 8:00/km pace — still pushing to improve
• Also into drawing — still learning, but I'm finally getting my proportions right
• Self-described chronic yearner with a long list of half-finished niche hobbies 😂
• Hobbies include hiking, travelling (been at it since I was four!), pottery, gardening, drawing, and more. I'm more of an "average Joe who tries everything" than a specialist
• Big on staying active. Lost about 35 kg over three years (from ~120 kg down to ~84 kg) and cut my running pace from 10:00/km to 6:30/km in just four months. Progress over perfection!
• Naturally a bit messy, but I've been working on that — and I'm convinced the right person will bring out my tidiest self 😄
• I have a pug. He doesn't bite, but he will judge you silently and without mercy.
• At my core, I'm a kind and genuine person. Not perfect, but I try to be better every single day.
