How do the masters work in BOF3?

So im just around 8 hours into BOF 3 and I still don't understand how they work. From what I know if you become an apprentice of one, if you level up while being their apprentice they get new skills, right?

What is the best way to play Mother 1?

So before I play the remake of Earthbound Beginnings, I kinda want to play Mother 1 itself first. I heard that the Mother 1 + 2 on the GBA is good. I also heard that there are a few NES patches to Mother 1.

Am I the only who decides who they will romance for this reason?

So I usually decide who I romance by questioning myself "Would I actually date them IRL"? My conclusion came to be: Makoto Nijima!!! Since I feel like she would be the most normal and realistic choice for me (alright this is for me, but you can have your own opinion). She's very smart, dependable since she is the school president, athletic since she does know some martial arts, has a hint of tomboy-ish with her (I love my tomboy girls) and of course, she is very pretty! (but tbh all girls in P5 are pretty). I see Ann as more of a friend, Futaba is of course a little sister, Haru is actually a good contender (like very VERY close) but I probably wouldn't know what to do with all that my money and tbh I see Haru as more as a friend who needs to let her true self show with the support of the Phantom Thieves (she also probably needs a break from romance after her last fiance), Kasumi is more of that younger friend who your just friends with and hangout with, Hifumi im not really sure about her though, the rest are WAY to old for me.

Edit: After some reconsideration, Futaba is that one shut in roommate you have that rarely leaves, but only really interacts with you

Mother 3 was so beatiful

I just finished it and.......WOW, it made me so emotional. I dont want to make this to long but I just want to highlight 2 moments where I was about to tear up, which was the Claus boss fight and the end screen where you walk around.

When you try to attack Claus, you cant since Lucas now knows that its his brother, and while that happens Hinawa is actively trying to call Claus to come back to his senses. It takes a while, but after that Claus finally realises that his mother is here and is trying to find her. When Hinawa says to come back to her and to finally rest (I dont know if those are the words, but thats what I interpreted), I started getting emotional. Inside Claus was the Claus before losing his mother, the innocent Claus who would always play with his brother and be with his family, the Claus before the "Masked Man", the childs name was Claus. And in the end, he takes off his mask, sends one last lighting bolt, and it reflects back to him, dying knowing that he got to see his brother after so long and realising that he'll be with his mother now.

The game gives you a fake end screen and you can actually walk around it. What comes up next is so wholesome and me about to cry. All of the npcs and characters say thank you to YOU, the player. They acknowledge that YOU helped saved their world and are happy to know YOU. One line that really stood out to me was a character asking that the outside world to be kind to the player, which hitted me in EVERYTHING emotionally. I just had to pause their and take it all in. A fictional character asking the world we are in to be kind to the player was just....wow.

Anyways I dont want this to be to long so I want to say one last thing now: EVERYONE should play mother 3 😁

(Now I feel empty.......I think I should tackle next Earthbound Beginnings or the Romhack....)

Vivi experiences one of lifes hardest questions

(SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!!!!)

(SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!!!!)

(SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!!!!)

(SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!!!!)

And thats why we love him. Vivi Ornitier on the outside looks like a child (I mean technically he is one), but behind that he is facing one of the hardest things that anyone can do, finding purpose in life. From the beginning of the game until the ending, he's been shown to be a child since it is confirmed that he was adopted by Quan, a Qu which is the same race of Quina.

He became somewhat of a Grandfather to him and cared for him until his death. After Quans death, Vivi decide to travel to Alexandria, which is the beginning of the game. He then joins on Zidanes adventure, acting as the black mage of the party. During Vivi's time in Dali, he sees other black mages like himself in a factory being mass produced. Obviously this is quite a revelation since you see that others like you are being mass produced like robots.

Moving on to disc 2, he encounters the black mage village, which is of course is populated with black mages such as Vivi. As the party and Vivi spend more time with the black mage village. Vivi encounters his most life changing realisation, DEATH. That everything including him will all soon die. This is in proof since Vivi discovers that black mages die and don't live long lives. This leaves Vivi with an everlasting existential dread that even he would also die. This gives him a question "What is the purpose of life"? Throughout the game, Vivi is shown to be like a meek, child like character who is still figuring out what to do in life. As the game progresses though, he becomes more brave, and one can even say wiser. There is obviously growth that Vivi encounters throughout the game, which is why I love him. He is one of the most unique and interesting characters that I have encountered as someone like him, who is essentially a child, is faced to challenge one of life's hardest question, Purpose. Why do we live? Why should we live? What should we do with life? In real time Vivi is shown that he grows, and learns what his purpose in life...

Which leads me to my last segment, the ending. The heartbreaking ending that we all had to experience, Vivi's death. During the ending, there is a monologue playing in the background. As we see the party slowly make our way back to Alexandria, we see a little black mage bumping into someone, reminiscent of the opening with Vivi. As the monologue soon ends we have a realisation, Vivi is gone. Due to his little life span as a black mage, he soon dies after the events of the game, leaving only his sons in his stead. During his monologue, it seems Vivi has figured his purpose in life,

living the moments of life, appreciating life itself, and memories.

"I always talked about you, Zidane. How you were a very special person to us, because you taught us all how important life is. You taught me that life doesn't last forever. That's why we have to help each other and live life to the fullest. Even if you say goodbye, you'll always be in our hearts. So, I know we're not alone anymore. Why I was born... How I wanted to live... Thanks for giving me time to think. To keep doing what you set your heart on... It's a very hard thing to do. We were all so courageous... What to do when I felt lonely... That was the only thing you couldn't teach me. But we need to figure out the answer for ourselves... I'm so happy I met everyone... I wish we could've gone on more adventures. But I guess we all have to say goodbye someday. Everyone... Thank you. Farewell. My memories will be part of the sky..."

(Wow I kind of got emotional writing this. Vivi is a very personal character to me since im also finding MY purpose in life. All in all FF9 will be ONE of my favorite games I have ever played and im happy that I got to experience it)

If you had to give a Final FormRide for each remaining rider, what would it be?

(Repost since I accidentally typed in Final AttackRide rather than Final FormRide)

Just finished Chapter 1 of Mother 3 and....

WOW this game went 180 fast. I didnt expect anything like this since its looks like a cheery game. I was shocked how Hinawa already dies and we see Flint from this responsible and courteous person, to see him vulnerable and go into grief. This is one of the FEW games where I see someone go into grief since from my experience. The way the game establishes the relationship of the townspeople, Flint, Hinawa, and each character is so refreshing to see. It gives the game more of its identity and more emotional attachment.

Hi! Im a beginner photographer and I want to ask how I can improve my camera work. I took all of these on a Nikon D5100, and all of them are raw photos, so no editing was used. I want to learn how to focus, work on the lighting, understand how Apature, API, and Shutter speed work, and all of the things that a beginner should learn. I also want to know how I can learn to edit my photos for more ambitious ones. I really want to improve on photography since its a hobby that I really want to do. (Theres also this black spot that randomly appeared so thats why theres one on the last photo. Im not sure how to solve it, maybe with cleaning? I dont know I'll figure it out)

Games that done need a lot of commiment/effort

Games that dont need a lot of commitment I want to play games that dont need a lot of focus and you just essentially play the game. Maybe something akin to earthbound or dragon quest 7. Generally any game that I can play on any moment on any day that I dont need to prepare for. I also just finished earthbound so im trying to find another game to play. Any consoles is fine, but preferably something for the Ps1, Gba, DS, Snes, maybe 3DS, and PSP.

It was....Beautiful

This is a masterpiece. Everyone should try it atleast once in their life. The game felt weirdly.....personal and emotional. Behind the humor and colors, something connects to you emotionally. Maybe its due to the 4th wall breaks, but this game felt different than anything what I've experienced before. Im proud of myself that I have finally played it.

Where do you guys generally grind in Earthbound?

So im that part of the game where apple kid gets kidnapped and I have to go underground. It is VERY HARD since Ness is lvl. 60, whole Paula is lvl. 50, Jeff is lvl. 48, and Poo is lvl. 44.

Just started Tactics

What should I know when progressing through the game? Any tips or tricks to keep in mind? Any missables or hard parts throughout the game?

Note: As a child, Snowe is already better than what 4 showed him to be.

Edit: I did load in a 108 stars of destiny save from Suikoden 4.

Recommend me any game that you like for me to play.

Currently im a biy bored with my current cycle of games including Persona 5 Royal, Suikoden Tactics, Earthbound and Dragon Quest 7 (3ds). I dont know what to play or add next to the cycle. I dont want to play any huge, monumental, or impactful game, I just want a game to play anytime of the day. Im fine with any genre of JRPGS and any console would work for me.

My first ever full body drawing!

Up until now I have only drew heads since I they looked the best. I know that I won't improve until I start going for more harder drawings like this. I really like how this turned out compared to my previous drawings, but I know this can be better.
