First time with Lucky!

I finally took a gamble on Lucky. There was this, the OG, and the fruit punch one. I wasn't too sure what I could expect from the OG one, so this felt like a safe bet. It's hard to get let down by peach anything and this was proved me right.

It doesn't have that one specific bite like another energy drink does where it feels like you're biting into a juicy peach (possibly Peachy Keen?), but it's up there. It's not overly sweet and it doesn't have a sharp amount of carbonation either that makes it feel unpleasant in more ways than one, so that's another plus. I'm kind of surprised since I wasn't sure what to expect with this brand, but now I'll have to keep my eyes open for them more.

With the hosts for ML27 being out there, who do you think would make for great future hosts?

Back when the O'Rangers and the Pinkies got announced as hosts for ML25 and ML26 respectively, leading to to it I recall there being discussions about what kind of events we could hope or expect from them and what what their home turf would look like.

Now that that's come to pass, I'm sure we can continue that tradition now with the Kobalts and what they'll have to offer. As per our annual discussions go, we always find a way to branch out and talk about who else would make solid hosts, when, and what their seasons could be like.

When I personally think about it, my thoughts go to the Chocolatiers, The Black Jacks, the Jungle Jumpers, and maybe the Turtle Sliders, Solar Flares, Team Wolfpack and Indigo Stars for who could make great hosts just for possible creative concepts alone and not just reputation. Others like Team Primary, Team Plasma, Balls of Chaos, and the Savage Speeders are awesome, but I have a hard time pinning down what their home stadium could look like or what their special events would be.

Where are all of you at? For the sake of creativity and openness, we can open the door a bit to other teams from special events like the Hublino and Marble Mania X like the Golden Orbs, the Strixes, and Noxious Ivy for any of those fans out there. If the Jawbreakers have a chance to come back - so do they.

Does anyone here have a good eye for cars?

I've been having the Degrassi channel on PlutoTV running in the background fairly regularly again and they're back to replaying S11 almost exclusively, so it's been nice to relive my old Tumblr years when I saw this as it was airing.

Something I had forgotten about again until recently was the use of cars in the show, specifically Eli's family having impeccable taste, at least to me, and for whatever reason, I haven't been able to pin down the make and model of both Morty and Bullfrog's Mustang that appears in Extraordinary Machine. I tried to cross-reference them to the car and vehicle version of IMDB, but that turned up with nothing both both of them, and the sections for all eras of Degrassi on there are surprisingly lacking.

I'm sure when the IMDB boards were still around someone answered this, but those days are long gone and the gallery on the Degrassi wiki don't have photos of the cars either that I'm aware of, so I'm unable to cross reference them at the moment either. If anyone has leads or knows what these are, that would be awesome.

Drink haul from the other day. The Dollar Store always comes in clutch.

Along with having Reign and Rip It, they had more of their typical Rockstar spread and I believe some Alani Nu's were in the cooler that I may have overlooked on my way out. I'll never turn down a Rockstar Zero or some Peach Rings, so I'm off to a great start.

I haven't had much 3D to share what my two cents are on it, but the cucumber melon one piqued my curiosity and I'm hoping this one works out. The cotton candy and snow cone Gfuels are probably the stars of the haul since I haven't seen these ones and I'm not sure if I'm just late to the party or rather early. I'm also not sure if GFuel is undergoing an art makeover or if this is just a temporary thing, but I really like what they have going on here. The colors are rich and vibrant, and the art style helps it pop on the shelves compared to everything else around it.

Right now I'm sipping on the creamy cotton candy one and I'm not disappointed by it.

You get the sweet smell right away upon opening and it carries on over with easy sipping - though I do notice that there's something a bit different with the carbonation unless GFuel has always been this way. It doesn't taste flat, but more in that the carbonation collects in the back of your throat a bit. Taste wise it's on par with many other cotton candy flavors, but I'm not sure which one it would be the closest to. It doesn't have a sickly sweet or medicinal quality to it, but it doesn't have that rock solid punch that Rockstar's XDurance one had IMO. It's good for what it's worth and I'm sure this will have a fan following for sure.

▲ 1 r/OCD

OCD being inconsistent can be so annoying

I had my first call with a psychiatrist a few days ago to unpack how to better manage my care plan, mostly with finding meds that may be a better fit for me. Since then and talking with my therapist later that day about how it went, I've been thinking more about how annoying OCD is with how inconsistent it can be.

Everyone has good days and bad days, even with other conditions. That's just how life is sometimes and I completely get that when it it comes to other things I have going on; like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. However, with this, I wish at least had a steady track record with what I notice more.

As an example, contamination was one of the main themes I noticed growing up but didn't completely put together that it could be an OCD problem and not just a general anxiety one. This ranged from avoiding drinking tap water due to an anti meth PSA I had seen as a kid (though it was fine if the water had been boiled first or was hot enough to steap coffee) to feelings of being contaminated by people or places and the thought of my clothes or belongings I took there touching anything else would taint those things with said people or places.

Nowadays, that also just fluctuates wildly. Some days I can go to work and not be bothered by cleaning a dirty surface (other than mild annoyance depending on what it is) to feeling like no amount of hand washing or showering will get me clean even if I wore gloves - and all I did was hold open a door or clean something even less dirty than the last mundane example. When it was especially bad, if my broom and butler even grazed my pants, then I'd want to just go home and burn my clothes because putting it in the washer means contaminating everything else and the drum itself with whatever was on me at work.

Similarly, I can be completely unbothered by my work space in my home office being a hot mess while I'm working with no rhyme or reason for things being where they are. Pens and paper can be scattered, multiple projects can be on top of each other, and so on. However, when I'm packing things like buttons or pins I've made for events, if certain ones of the same color or theme/style are touching, then it's mildly distressing even if I recognize it's irrational.

Logically I could just dump them in there or have someone pack it for me, but not having that control of where things are going so I can be sure things are correct is off. Will anything bad happen if say, two purple pins or two pins with spirals are touching each other? Of course not. I get that and I'm just as annoyed with myself taking the extra time to meticulously pack things as I'm sure others would be.

But, damn. Something about it not being done feels wrong. It would be nice though if this need for symmetry or balance was consistent in every other area of my life, like how I understand some people can't have their food touch or their clothing has to be a specific way or it feels wrong. For the most part, I don't have this problem. In other areas though, it's rough and can feel more annoying to tune out or sit with than it is alarming or upsetting. If the intensity or volume can't be consistent, at least the themes or patterns doing that would be nice, but it not being feels like you're on a roller-coaster most of the time.

Does anyone else deal with something similar with the types of ocd you primarily struggle with or is this a generally common thing?

I finally found it! Here's to my major sip of the day.

I was torn on this and Cocaine Watermelon Ice at the location I was at, but I figured I would take a chance on this since it felt the safest bet.

The flavor for this one is what you'd expect and Ghost nailed it for me. Lemon lime isn't exactly the hardest to pull off, but that specific 7Up profile is there and it doesn't taste too sweet or overly artificial. It's quite solid, though unless I'm really itching for a 7Up, I probably won't get this one anyte soon now that desire has ben satiated. It's worth seeking out though, IMO, for all the soda heads out there that want to try everything and they can compare notes.

I'm planning on hopefully getting that Watermelon Ice next time I'm out to see what that does for me. I haven't had a Cocaine in 15 or so years, so this will be fun for sure!
