Is it safe to leave bags in the cubbies?

**i have never been before**

i'm going to canada's wonderland with my girlfriend and her dad, and i don't want to drag them all across the park or do annoying stuff trying to find a place to put my bag, but i really do need to bring things that need to be stored in a purse. (everyone is going on ALL of the rides, so there is nobody to stand and watch our items)

i've read that most of the rides excluding a few have bag cubbies, but i'd be anxious to leave my purse in there. it's an angel barcelo so it's only like 60 bucks, but i'm still worried it might get stolen despite it not being expensive or fancy. is stealing a problem at canadas wonderland, and which rides do not have cubbies?

(purse is not small, it's a bit bigger than the big kleenex boxes)

Places to order good, cute tights in ca?

i've looked at moody mumu and snag, and neither of those work. apparently moody mumu has bad quality stuff, i don't think(?) they have a canadian website (it's .com and you can't make it .ca), and snag ships from the uk (again i think, i just know it's pretty far). i don't want to pay much for shipping, so i am looking for a store in the usa or canada, or somewhere very close. i have seen a store (although i forget what it is) but it is a curvy + plus sized store, and i am neither of those. i don't want to just buy from amazon or walmart or the dollar store as those usually aren't good quality, and they don't have many options for cute colours or patterns in canada.

don't quote me on any of this 100%, and feel free to correct me if something is actually wrong!! This is just what i remember and what my mom pointed out to me

bullet point looking for:

- opaque/close to opaque tights (just not suuuper sheer)

- good colours, some patterns (like polka dots or stripes)
- ships from canada or usa

- good quality

- NOT shein/temu/aliexpress or amazon/walmart/dollarama/shoppers

- not a curvy girl or plus sized only store

Whats the best size to order this in?

Warning i mention my measurements to see if anyone has similar and what size they wear!! some comments say that it's better to size down, and some keep the same size.
my measurements are >!30in bust (76.2cm), 24in (60cm) waist, and 35in (90cm) hips!<. i'm slightly under 5'7 and i have long arms. i'm usually an xs, but some of their xs clothing has not hugged my waist in the ways i like it to (the short sleeved hoodless henley), and i want this one to be tight around my waist

looking for small diy gift ideas to send my 'penpal' uncle!

my favourite uncle (30y/o) has been sending me some snail mail that mostly consists of little letters/card and stickers!! I want to send him interesting things in return. I know what to write in letters, but i don't have many stickers or anything else. i'm a crafty person but i lack ideas, and majority of what i find online searching for penpals are ideas for other teenage girls like myself. are there any small diys that i could send him?

- he likes cats and his husband, and he says he likes everything he recieves
- budget is anything small (preferably <$5-10/letter)
- occasion: casual snail mail ?

- he does not own a cat

Any good, small/local spots for sweet treats?

Hello! i'm someone who has a big sweet tooth, and i would like to support some local businesses and try new things! Unfortunately I can't explore without knowing exactly where I'm going, and that is why I'm looking for places to go to (and i'd love recommendations and commentary on what is an is not good). Do you have any suggestions of places to go to (and possibly some things to try)?

Places to join for a (begginer) 15y/o to do ballet?

i'm 15, never done ballet before aside from stuff when i was a toddler, and i'd really love to join a place for beginners, and preferably not a class with ten year olds if possible 😞
are there any dance studios that do this, or beginner adult classes that have exceptions for teenagers?
*also it does not need to be competitive ballet, i just love watching the sport and really want to try it by any means avaliable

Any small + good coffee/drink places?

I'd like to get coffee (like a latte, i am not a consumer of black coffee), or really any good, sweet drink at a small or local coffee shop. I'm trying to go to more places that i'm unfamiliar with, and possibly support small/local businesses. i don't know any, and i'm looking for suggestions!

edit: thank you all for the suggestions, i really appreciate the input!! 😋 im so excited to go and try out as many of these as i can this summer

Do any parks or safe areas have stray cats that are regularly seen?

I'm not missing a cat, I wanted to know if there are any safe areas + parks with real stray kitties that hang around. I don't know people who have cats and do not have one myself, but I love cats and genuinely just want to hang around stray cats and try giving some kitties treats (unless redditors believe that is not a good idea)

Looking for littlest pet shop & my little pony figures (in stores only)

i love littlest pet shop and generation 4 my little pony figures and plushies, and i want to find some. I'm assuming most responses will be thrift stores, but are there any places that are likely to have them? Also, are there any deadstock stores, or stores that still sell new old things? Are there any stores you've seen those in recently?

i also know that ebay and facebook marketplace has them, but I am not able to purchase things online.

These are what the gen4 mlp characters look like

What teas are good for getting in to drinking tea?

i've not had any good, real tea before, but i'd really like to be someone who drinks tea frequently. I like sweet things, and fruity things. Are there any kinds of tea or good brands i should look for?

also, i'm canadian, so certain options may have a limited availability

Is something going on (safety-wise)?

I'm a girl in higher grade right now right now, and I'm really curious if something is going on making places more dangerous for people like me. i used to be allowed to walk home from school and go near places, but my parents are no longer allowing me with the claims that it is unsafe. is this paranoia, or are there genuinely increasing stakes/crime or something that causes a safety issue right now?

Is there any pride events that would be safe for teens or likely not?

me and a group of my friends are wanting to go to a pride event, but i'm worried that it wouldn't be appropriate or safe. i'm fine with people expressing themselves however they want but that isn't something i always want to see (ex nudity), and i know that there are weird homophobes at a lot of pride events, and i don't know if that would pose a safety issue.
i'm fine to wait until we're all older to go to an event, but it would of course be nice to not need to

Looking for beaches within 2-3 hours driving distance, and maybe ones with lots of seashells!

i'm trying to find beaches to go to in summer that are actually nice, and i'm also curious (seperately) if there are any nearby with some big shells/many shells (that you're allowed to take).

(there are three flowers) i got these tulips from a grocery store, and i'm really afraid of killing them like my other plants. the pot is a bit small, but i'm not transplanting them currently because it looks like they're about to bloom. i'm looking to know if it's okay to keep them in that pot & location, and how much and when i should be watering them? if anyone knows exactly how much and when to water tulips, (like a schedule) that would be incredibly helpful as well!

the location of the tulips and size of pot

i'm aware that the little card says to just keep the soil moist, although i'm quite prone to overwatering plants, and that makes it a bit harder than just a measured amount.
