I blew a tranny last night

Or at least I think I did. First off get your minds out the gutter second off am i totally fudged? I was dropping my daughter off at daycare when I went to back my car out of the park spot. it went about 2 feet then nothing when I put it in neutral it started to drive almost hit the building cause I wasn't expecting it. I also noticed my engine felt hotter than normal as well. After some googling and youtubing I believe my transmission welded it's self together. I drive an Nissan Xterra 02 2wd 6 cylinder if anyone who's dealt with this especially with this car can you tell me what I'm looking at financially or should not even trying and think about that and just start looking for another car

Down from 276 to 245.4

Hey guys just wanted to share some of my success as of this morning. I began dieting in march with a slow ball method. First week nothing but cutting to only water, no sodas, but I could eat what ever. Then shifting to water and healthy foods but no calorie or carb counting. By week 3 is when I started calorie and carb restrictions. week four is where I began to introduce intermittent fasting.

I began dieting around the first week of March. I had ordered a new button up shirt online that while I could button up , It looked like my stomach was gonna rip thru it like the scene from "aliens". This was the point I decided I had to loose weight as being 2xl was a lot emotionally but jumping to 3xl was a mental "no no" for me.

The first month was definitely the hardest. Even with the slow gentle changes of my life/ eating habits it's still felt very daunting, but cutting soda and fast food alone dropped me more than 10 lbs! This what really spirited thru the next 20lbs! Because after that first month your stomach begans to shrink and any hunger pain you used to deal with is pretty much gone.

I know I have many months to go before I'm at my ideal weight, but with being only .4 lbs shy of my 245 goal 15 days early! has made all the "sacrifices" felt like nothing and has pushed me into the mind set these next 4 months will be easy as low fat low sodium cottage cheese!

Working without water

The dollar general I'm working has been in operation since Wednesday morning with out water plans to continue staying open until Monday or later. According to all the laws this is illegal. Not only does my manager know this so does my district manager and her higher ups. I worked Wednesday when happened assumed we'd be closing shortly after went home for my shift, but come to find out today we still open in the same situation. There is shit floating in the toilet from coworkers that's couldn't hold it. My issue is it's Saturday and both OSHA and the health department is closed I've already called the fire Marshal but since my store doesn't have a fire system he can't close down but out his own mouth the fact we are open both illegal and jus disgusting from a health stance. Is there anything I can do or jus wait till Monday?

Hey guys jus wanna share some of my personal journey, in the hopes of spreading moral to keep on keeping it off!

About 9 months ago I tried to lose weight. I hit every diet hard and heavy. while I lost almost 20 lbs in 30 days, going so crazy harsh really back fired for me. This made it all the easier to give up when life happens "new job, schedule changes, etc".

At the end of the day I gained it all back plus an extra few pounds. When I had started 9 months ago at 267lbs I got down to 250lbs, but only after a day of fasting would the scale hot that number and is more fair to say I only lost 15 lbs in that month. 45 days ago I weighted 276lbs, an extra 9 lbs from when I started. this morning with out fasting the previous day my weight is 251.3lbs!

What am I doing different? Going easy!

I changed my eating habits in steps as not to be such a shock to my system. I cut to only water but still ate whatever I wanted. After a week of this I began to watch my carbs, opting for healthy carb sources. Once this became common place for me I started counting my calories. Because of this method, I don't feel like I'm dieting, I jus feel like I'm eating normally, just what i normally eat has changed.

Slow and steady has been the main focus behind how ive been approaching this wieght loss journey. The more gradually I adapt something to my routine the more fortified it becomes. Going from junk food all day to a handful of tuna packets all day would have just sent me right back into the arms of lil Debbie, longing to feel full. Instead by making these lil changes over time, now when I'm hungry I crave a tuna packet not a honey bun!

But if I do, I don't beat my self up and that's the second biggest thing I've owed my succes too. I no longer think of it as cheating or a set back but simply a treat for my hard work. If I eat something I shouldn't have, being hard

On myself only gives me more reason to keep that up "oh I messed up" "all that hard work wasted" "I already broke my diet why not have more". These are thoughts that start swelling when im so overly focused on doing it "right", a lil treat becomes a big problem that becomes the end of all that hard work.

This is why "going easy" is crucial to all my hard work. As silly or counter productive as it may sound, trying hard and being strick isnt the key to my success, but simply sitting back relaxing and just taking this journey one day at a time and staying positive no matter how the day turns out!
