Dog peed on new ac unit

I caught my dog peeing on my AC unit today. I had cylinder blocks blocking the area for a few months after I got the new AC installed while I can save up money to get a fence. I think my dog has been peeing on the AC unit for just only a couple days and the AC unit seems to be working. What do you think from the picture? I did use my garden hose and sprayed lightly to try to clean off the best I could.

House of Frankenstein 1997 Remastered

Here's a very rare two-part TV movie that has never been released on DVD, Blu-ray, or any streaming platform. I spent seven months remastering it, and I'm excited to finally share it with everyone.

The audio has been carefully cleaned up, and the video has been fully restored and remastered in 1080p, giving it the look and feel of a brand-new film.

Here is the link: https://archive.org/details/house-of-frankenstein-1997-part-1-remastered-1080-p

Restoration Process Included:

  • Video cleanup and enhancement
  • AI-assisted upscaling using Topaz Video AI
  • Manual video corrections and fixes
  • Color correction and brightness/contrast adjustments using DaVinci Resolve
  • Audio cleanup and restoration using Audacity and iZotope RX 11
  • Final editing and mastering in Final Cut Pro
  • Added the 1997 Universal Television intro and Part 1 / Part 2 title cards for a more complete viewing experience

Addams Family Reunion (1998) Remastered

I thought I'd share some rare movies, and Addams Family Reunion is one of them. I took the time to remaster it, and I think it turned out outstanding.

I've completed a few other remasters as well, and I'm still working on several more. Let me know what you think!

Samsung dvd-vr357 HDMI audio issue

I picked up a brand-new Samsung DVD-VR357 DVD/VCR combo today for $100. Everything works great except for one strange issue: the HDMI output won't carry audio unless it's connected to the ARC HDMI port on one of my TVs.

If I connect it to a regular HDMI input, I get video but no audio. I also tested it with my Elgato capture card and get the same result—video over HDMI, but no audio. The only time HDMI audio works is when it's plugged into an ARC port, which I thought was pretty odd. I checked the settings on the player and HDMI-CEC is turned off but still the same issue.

As a workaround, I can use the composite AV outputs with an HDMI converter into my capture card, and both the video and audio work fine. However, the HDMI output from the DVD/VCR produces a much sharper image when capturing VHS tapes, so I'd really like to get the HDMI audio working as well.

Has anyone run into this before? Is there a setting, firmware issue, or workaround that would allow the HDMI audio to work with a capture card or a standard HDMI input?

Invasion America (1998) Remastered

I thought I would share this to everyone. Im officially half way through remastering Invasion America. This is from my super vhs tapes recorded through satellite back when it aired in 1998. This is the 6 part mini series not the version where it was split into 13 episodes. This has been a massive project and i am finally happy to reveal some screenshots on how it looks so far. Im currently cleaning up the audio on the the last 2 episodes and finallying going through the ai upscaling process with starlight precise 2.5. Then onto fixing the saturation and colors after the first render. I had to go frame by frame for each episode to clean up all the source video issues from color correct to removing or replacing frames that has ghost/halo effect and many other things. My goal is to be done before Christmas but might be end of summer or early fall depends. The hardest parts are done and this is a final shot from episode 2 of the series with the color correcting etc.

Starlight Precise 2.5 question

Ive been testing out Starlight Precision and I have noticed pretty much every video i have tried i get a lot of artifacts and warping effect (dont know how else to describe it). When I use startlight mini everything looks clean crisp but of course the details is not as good including the text stuff. The videos are 480p and i even tried using starlight mini convert it from 480p to 720p then use precise 2.5 to upscale to 1080 from that 720p starlight mini encode. It still creates a lot of artifacts on the video. Has anyone else come across this before?
