Hot take: I would've rather had Steve take Bucky with him.

A lot of people wanted Bucky to become the next Cap, just like in the comics. But unlike his 616 counterpart, MCU Bucky is Steve's childhood best friend. I honestly think it was a shitty move on Steve's part to leave Bucky behind instead of taking him back to the past with him.

Whatever happened to "until the end of the line"?

Wouldn't it have been better for Bucky to grow old alongside Steve instead of being left in the present, struggling with dating (when he was a total Chad back in the '40s), being made to feel guilty for HYDRA's sins rather than his own, and babysitting Sam and the New Avengers?

Was obito a plot armor merchant?

Was Obito a plot armor merchant?

Early Naruto showed us how ruthless the shinobi world could be. 12-year-old students died during the Chunin Exams. But Obito's eventual reappearance completely broke Kakashi, who had most likely witnessed similar things several times before, despite having served in the ANBU. Even Minato was left speechless. The same Minato who had no bussiness to kill 1000 ninja.

Was this a symptom of Kishimoto sacrificing world-building and plot consistency for the sake of drama and emotional impact?

Did Hashi cells made Obito more inteligent?

He went from struggling in school to have vast knowledge in politics (manipulated Yagura and Akatsuki movement), medicine(performed mangekyo surgery), history and I and the occult (Izanagi and Paths of Pain).

Never made sense for me Tobi whitewashed the Hiruzen

Instead saying Hiruzen rounded up the Uchiha to genocide them he portrayed Hiruzen as someone who couldnt do that much. That the lead in that situation was Senju administration and then Danzo. As if Kishimoto was speaking through Tobi. So strange.

Why obito didnt do the same to the damyo?

Why didn’t Obito just cast genjutsu on all the daimyō to achieve peace in the shinobi world? Especially since their guards are Asuma-level at best.

Obito sadly stands as one of the greatest plot holes in fantasy/fiction.

  • Top combat speed in the verse
  • Battlefield removal and arguably the best defensive ability in the verse
  • Could potentially starve Jinchūriki to death one by one

Obito was a top dog in the verse. We’re told he was desperate to end the shinobi world, and his kit should’ve allowed him to complete the Eye of the Moon Plan within months. Instead, he delayed the plan for 16 years, overcomplicated everything by running an organization of misfits, waited until the Nine-Tails’ Jinchūriki was 16 years old, and then hired a generational prodigy who could either kill him at worst or expose his identity at best.

How would you have fixed this?

Would Minato have needed to place some kind of seal on Naruto that triggers Amaterasu if Obito gets too close to a Jinchūriki or something? Because as it stands...

Still pissed Kishimoto made Obito use a zetsu army instead little villages for the war

Still pissed that Kishimoto had Obito use a Zetsu army instead of the smaller villages for the war.

Imagine if Obito had preached about Goddess Kaguya and the Eye of the Moon Plan to the smaller villages. Then, when he declared war, he’d have an actual army of people fighting for him instead of what are basically plant-based robots.

The smaller villages could’ve become death cults devoted to triggering the end of the world through a “peaceful” send-off, believing the Eye of the Moon Plan would finally put an end to their suffering.

That would bring the plot full circle. Kishimoto’s criticism of the Cold War, which was exposed in the Pain arc, could then evolve into a broader criticism of colonialism and religious extremism as well. Obito would also be a better version of Zeref (Fairy Tail) by this.

Do you think Marvel Studios will take inspiration from Ultimate X-Men?

Do you think Marvel Studios will take inspiration from Ultimate X-Men?

The Avengers (2012) took a lot of inspiration from The Ultimates. From Captain America struggling to adjust after being frozen for several decades, to the Chitauri invasion and the connection between the Super-Soldier Serum and Hulk’s origins. Even the Thor vs. Hulk fight on the Helicarrier has a very obvious Ultimates feel to it.

No me refiero únicamente a policías corruptos.

Do you think MCU gonna change Angel fighting style?

was lurking on the X-Men subreddit one day, and an Angel fan wrote that Marvel doesn't really know what to do with pre-Archangel Warren. And honestly, it's true. It's something you can even notice in animation.

For example, in Wolverine and the X-Men, basically every X-Man uses their powers offensively, while Warren is mostly just flying around.

Since Marvel Studios changed Falcon's offensive moveset early in the MCU by giving him guns and more combat-oriented gear, do you think Marvel Studios would change Angel's moveset if they give him some action scenes before the Death Seed transformation?

What kind of changes would you suggest?

  • Give him guns or some kind of ranged weapon, like Falcon?
  • Merge the character with Angel Salvadore and give him insect-like wings and acid spit?
  • Give him wind-based attacks, like Air Cutter and Air Slash from Pokémon?
  • Or just lean into his existing powers and make his wings capable of creating powerful wind attacks?

My pitch for live action Obito

My pitch for live-action Obito

Given that the Naruto live-action movie is in the works, I'd like to see a few changes that could improve Obito's character.

0. Rin is actually Obito's girlfriend. In the manga/anime, Obito's feelings for Rin are obvious, but their relationship isn't developed enough. Making them an actual couple would make her death hit much harder and prevent Obito from looking like a loser who went insane over his crush dying.

1. Obito spends months traveling after Rin's death.
Instead of immediately joining Madara, Obito spends months traveling through the Shinobi world and witnessing how rotten it is at its core. This would make it clear to the audience that it was the brutality and corruption of the Shinobi system that ultimately led him to set the Eye of the Moon Plan in motion, rather than Rin's death by itself.

2. He doesn't help with the Uchiha coup or Itachi's massacre.
Because honestly, both of those things make Obito look like a HUGE hypocrite. If his whole ideology is that the Shinobi system is fundamentally rotten, I don't think he should actively participate in a political conflict within the Uchiha clan or help Itachi massacre his own people.

3. He manipulates the smaller villages into turning against the Five Great Shinobi Villages.
Instead of having Obito rely so heavily on Zetsu to manipulate everyone and build up the Fourth Shinobi World War, I'd rather see him personally manipulate the smaller villages and unite them against the Great Shinobi Villages. I don't know, man. I feel like that would make the war feel much more political and dramatic instead of cartoonish.

4. Obito is the final boss.
Madara still gets revived, but mainly as a plot device to explain Obito's past, his relationship with Hashirama, and the origins of his ideology. Maybe both Madara and Obito could be part of a Kaguya cult. They know exactly what Kaguya did, but Kaguya herself is never actually revived.

Obito would ultimately work better as the final villain because his relationship with Naruto is much more personal. Their interactions are basically a clash between two people who were once very similar but chose completely different paths.

So the final battle would be Ten-Tails + Rinnegan Obito vs. Six Paths Naruto + Rinnegan Sasuke.

Guys I have a theory or something

I think Marvel could structure the Mutant Saga somewhat like the Infinity Saga, with different characters filling similar narrative roles:

Mr. Sinister could be the Loki of the Mutant Saga: a recurring villain who manipulates things from the shadows, with his obsession with mutant genetics, the Summers family and Jean giving him plenty of material from the comics.

Apocalypse would be the Thanos of the saga: the bigger threat whose presence is slowly built up across multiple movies before becoming the main villain.

Jean, Cyclops and Storm could be the Tony, Cap and Thor of the Mutant Saga — three of the main pillars of the X-Men, each representing a different aspect of the team.

Wolverine could be the Spider-Man equivalent: the most famous mutant, with his own solo saga that occasionally crosses over with the main X-Men story.

And Stryfe could fill the role of the Infinity Stones, or at least the equivalent of the ultimate MacGuffin that the final villain is trying to obtain. His comic history already connects him to Apocalypse, Cable and Sinister. Apocalypse infected Nathan Summers with the techno-organic virus, Nathan was sent into the future, and a clone was created as a backup. That clone eventually became Stryfe and was raised by Apocalypse's forces.

So you could have Sinister's experiments leading to Cable's creation, Apocalypse wanting Cable/Stryfe for his own plans, Stryfe becoming Cable's archenemy, and all of those threads eventually converging in the Apocalypse storyline.

You could even incorporate the Legacy Virus, since Stryfe's comic history is connected to that as well.

Basically, the Mutant Saga could have its own version of the Infinity Saga's interconnected storytelling without just copying the MCU, because a lot of these connections already exist in the comics.

I hope MCU Xmen do this love triangle

I don't particularly like the love triangle itself, but I think it could accomplish a few things:

  1. Give Angel something to do beyond his eventual Archangel arc.
  2. Add more depth to Scott's character. In the Silver Age despite Jean being more attracted to Scott, she dated Warren first because Scott stepped aside. Early on, Scott was portrayed as a tragic character, somewhat like Ben Grimm or Bruce Banner. He considered his mutation too dangerous and preferred Jean to date Warren because he was afraid he might hurt her. That's also why Scott became so fixated on the X-Men. He didn't see himself as someone who could just goof around in bars like Beast or Iceman, or casually date Jean. He felt that the only thing he could really do was stay with Xavier and dedicate himself to the X-Men. I've noticed that this aspect of Scott is rarely addressed in other adaptations, especially because those versions often establish that his inability to control his optic blasts is the result of an accident rather than emphasizing that his mutation itself is inherently dangerous.

I think that could make Warren's transformation into Archangel feel much more personal while diving in a position that media usually doesnt portray about Scott.

Jesus and Mary would be zionist

Mary and Jesus would be Zionists.

Whenever Catholics tell me that the Israel of Scripture has nothing to do with the Jewish people today, I honestly wonder what they think Israel means.

Israel is a bloodline.

Jesus was Jewish. Mary was Jewish. David was Jewish. The Apostles were Jewish. The entire salvation story was built around a specific people and a specific bloodline that God preserved for centuries.

So you're telling me that God carefully established this bloodline, gave them a land, made covenants with them, promised to preserve them, brought the Messiah through them—and then suddenly their ancestry became irrelevant?

And here's the funniest part: Israel is also part of Christian eschatology. Paul literally warns Gentile Christians not to become arrogant toward the natural branches because they were grafted in.

So maybe Gentiles should know their place. 😂

You were grafted into Israel's story. Israel wasn't grafted into yours.

You don't have to support every Israeli government or every Israeli policy. But pretending that modern Jews have no meaningful connection to biblical Israel while worshipping a Jewish Messiah is an absurd theological position.

Christianity didn't replace the fact that Jesus came from Israel.

Jesus came from this bloodline. Stop diminishing His bloodline with pauline misreadings and goy-slop theology to please marxists. You guys are better than that.

The Pope going against AI makes no sense to me.

AI mainly affects white-collar workers.

The same white-collar workers who have bullshit meetings, make PowerPoint decks nobody reads, work under managers who do nothing, have coworkers who somehow survive for years while barely working, and spend their days pretending to be busy.

And these are often the same white-collar industries that push policies and cultural ideas that go against Catholic teaching.

If anything, AI can be seen as a force that challenges idolatry: idolatry toward anti-Catholic Hollywood studios, degenerate celebrities and actors (a profession that was looked down upon from St. Augustine to Pius XII), and anti-Catholic artists.

AI is also humbling some white-collar workers who contribute very little, while engineers and blue-collar workers, both in the First and Third World, actually have to get their hands dirty and produce something tangible.

If AI-driven layoffs end up teaching some people humility, maybe there can even be a lesson in that. Suffering can bring people closer to Christ, as Mother Teresa often emphasized.

Pope Leo and the Magisterium should embrace AI as a weapon against the degenerate and anti-Catholic industries and classes I mentioned above.

If anything, AI is more of a materialization of St. Michael the Archangel than the dangerous weapon Pope Leo portrays it as in his encyclical.

Why Marvel Studios change Kang Dinasty?

Why did Marvel Studios change The Kang Dynasty?

For me, it’s really hard to believe that Marvel Studios actually scrapped The Kang Dynasty and reworked it into something else. That’s a lot of money and planning to throw away. They had arguably built up Kang even more than they built up Thanos, only to switch to Doom at the last minute. And Doom doesn’t have the same familiarity with the general audience that he had after two Secret Wars stories.

Jonathan Majors?

Just recast him. Lol. Kang is probably one of the easiest characters to recast, and the MCU already built up the idea of multiple versions of him. Loki, No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps have made it clear that characters can have the same or completely different appearances depending on the universe. They even showed Kangs with different phenotypes during the Ant-Man 3 post-credits scene.

Why not build up a Fantastic Four trilogy with Doom first?

Again, I wonder if Marvel Studios avoided going too deep into the cosmic side of Marvel in Infinity War because of licensing issues. Adam Warlock, Galactus, Eternity, etc. could have been used much more heavily otherwise.

But Secret Wars, particularly the 2015 version, is essentially the personal culmination of Doom and Reed’s rivalry. It’s practically Hickman’s response to the Fantastic Four being cancelled back in the day. So it feels weird to introduce Doom as the big bad without first establishing that rivalry.

The budget and reception of Ant-Man 3?

Imagine if Marvel had completely reworked the plot of Infinity War after The Incredible Hulk.

Kevin Feige not being too fond of the TV shows?

He said Thunderbolts, Ant-Man 3, and Captain America: Brave New World didn’t meet expectations partly because their stories relied too much on Disney+ shows. Plus, he never included Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or the Netflix shows in the Infinity Saga.

So why include Loki in Avengers: Doomsday?

That’s what makes this whole thing so strange to me. Why exactly did Marvel change The Kang Dynasty into a Doom story?
