Also my first time binding notebooks! The covers are from scrapbook cardstock
I found one like a year ago but didn’t buy it because I didn’t know what it was. Then saw a post about one a couple days later, put two and two together, and it’s haunted me since 🥲 Found this one today and it’s even cuter than the other one! It’s missing one of the ball pieces though- gonna have to see if I can source a replacement
Hoping it gets easier lol
I had a brain glitch and added an extra “centers” but c’est la vie
Sometimes I get in a rut of just writing stuff I need to get done or worries and whatnot so I added an insert solely dedicated to big or small moments that give me joy. Trying to get in the habit of recognizing them and jotting them down as they come.
*Before you ask- Hoagie and Meatwad are my cats. Hoagie is a newly adopted big orange boy, 6yo, and Meatwad is an 11yo black kitty I’ve had for about 6yrs and I’m obsessed with both of them.
Blocked out details on the sticker that’d give stuff away lol
Mini journal backpack has been a game changer since I’ve been wanting to add mini paintings in with my entries. If anyone has any recommendations for small passport sized watercolor notebooks I’d love to hear them! In the meantime I’m working with some cards I cut out from larger sheets. Would love to paint directly into a book though rather than attaching the painting after.
I was in Michael’s and found these zip up pouches that are for Stanley water bottles (on sale- $4 each), and discovered that it was the perfect size to fit over my journal for when I want to bring a little extra like my painting set :)
I always had a commonplace of some sort throughout the years but always abandoned it, was always unsure why considering I keep several other journals consistently. Then I thrifted a brand new a5 Filofax for $5 (score) and realized that my problem was I just don’t like commonplacing in regular bound notebooks apparently?? I think I prefer the flexibility of being able to rearrange/remove pages cleanly, also I tend to be indecisive between dotgrid, lined, and unlined paper, so I can have all three in here 🤓 curious to browse and see what systems y’all use!
I’m brand new to postcrossing- just signed up and about to send out my first postcard! Because of this subreddit I was reminded of a big box of old postcards my grandfather gave me, wondering if people like getting vintage cards? Would love to send these out to have others enjoy too. Any advice appreciated!
