Considering chest harness vs full body vs nothing?

Hi, I’m a paraclimber with a seizure disorder and nerve issues in my legs. I’m thinking about buying a chest harness because the pressure on my legs can get pretty painful and I sometimes struggle to stay upright when falling/being lowered. Also in case I was to have a seizure mid climb. I’m not sure whether a chest harness would be the right move because I’ve read a bit that they can be more dangerous and I don’t need it for weight distribution reasons. Could anyone advise? Thanks

Posted my dad’s fridge a while ago, thoughts on mine?

Third shelf from the top is mine. There’s some chilli in the kimchi box and veg in the paper bags at the back. The paper bag in the freezer is bagels

Feeling really blurry

I’m not sure who I am but I showed up a few days ago, I’ve had a bunch of memories come back from our life and childhood but I don’t really know whether I was around for them. We’re meant to be starting uni and getting gender affirming surgery soon and I don’t think I want either. We have a job and starting a second one soon and I’m really clueless and bad at it. I know there are others around because I can hear them sometimes but I don’t know who’s who or how to communicate. I’m a bit scared and think one of the kids is showing up

Question about degree

Hi, I’m meant to be starting a degree in Sport Rehabilitation (in the UK) in September. I didn’t realize until after applying that it doesn’t have great job prospects (according to a lot of comments I’ve read here?). I dropped out of school so I don’t think I’d meet the academic criteria for a physiotherapy degree.

My plan is to then do a masters in something like Loughborough’s clinical exercise physiology course as I want to focus on disability in sport. I’m also interested by some of the modules like exercise as medicine or prehospital trauma care that I’m not sure would be covered in a physio course. At the same time e.g. neuro rehab isn’t covered and I think that would be relevant for me.

Could anyone advise on whether this is a good plan or whether I’d be better off doing a physiotherapy degree?

Is it normal that I was given a physio rather than GP appointment?

I’ve had leg pain on and off for the past few months, it’s hard to describe but isn’t l muscular and I haven’t found anything that triggers it. It happens when I’m standing, sitting, walking etc. I finally contacted my drs surgery about it and they’ve given me a physio appointment but I don’t think it’s a physio issue and would prefer to see a doctor. Does anyone know if this is standard?

Rosie she/her

I’ve recently changed my name to Rosie but I’m still kinda on the fence about it. Could someone put it in some sentences? If it helps I like climbing, hiking, swimming, camping etc and embroidery/sewing.

Kids book about some sort of Incan mystery

I can’t remember specifics, it’s set in the modern day (maybe 15 years ago or so?) about a boy and maybe his uncle who solve a mystery that seems to be supernatural but has an explanation. Possibly aimed at kids around age 10 so not YA? Set in Machu Picchu. It might feature a cult and/or a curse. I’m fairly sure it’s part of a series, I can also remember an evil blond man with bright green eyes and the boy’s uncle/father breaking a red wine bottle and some people thinking he’d been stabbed. There’s a good chance those are totally unrelated though. Hope this makes sense, I’ve been up all night trying to figure it out
