This is Steve. She will be 20 this year in Summer. She was named for Steve Irwin who had passed around that time. Then she got bigger (a lot!) and laid eggs but she's still Steve because she comes when you call her name. She also hand feeds nicely.

Today Steve finished the rest of her shed. She was basking as her tank was being attended to and she became a nice dry turtle.. then a peeling turtle. It was mostly her plastron except for one questionable (literally) piece on the carapace.

She has a question (mark) it would seem on her butt end that remains after shedding. Wish I knew how to answer her question. What do you think she's asking?

I got all the tricky to get hangtags via the "Coach web programmer doesn't know what they are doing" glitch and thought I'd share all my multicolor accessories together even though I probably would use them all on such a small bag. *There's a green flower under the aqua.

Remember when you were young and you got that fluffy coat or that perfect pair of shoes, or the backpack with your favorite character on it and you just wanted to hug it and take it to bed at night when you went to sleep. It didn't matter that it wasn't a stuffed animal or a blanket.. it was Yours.

So yeah I just picked up this Hammitt Charles pack today and the leather is soooo incredibly soft I can't stop touching it. It's nothing fancy or expensive but it says it wants pillow space tonight. Anyway.. now that I have shared my new bag and a bit of my childhood (it was shoes.. then a new coat... ) I hope you all have a fine rest of your day. 😁 🤣

I finally brought my bookmark in to have it personalized. My SA suggested I do a bit more than emboss. I agreed since it would spend its time mashed between pages which may eventually flatten it. I compromised keeping an all black theme calling back to my not so gone goth days.
