Beginner-Just did 900 yards in 30 mins

I’m a beginner but I am hoping/working towards my goal of freestyle swimming non stop one lap across the beach. So far I been taking breaks swimming in my break and back to freestyle.

I was using a nose clip but it’s not helping me keep water from going down my nose. So I been trying to slowly breathe out from my nose while turning my head right with my left out in front of me to breathe in.

My other issue is water staying in my left ear. Do you put swimmers drops right after you are finish swimming?

I been trying to go every other morning before work and it’s been great! Also picked up some cheap shokz look alike waterproof headphones and it’s been a game changer for me!

Trying to improve my life

42 and about to turn 43 soon.

I started going to the beach after work as long as it’s not raining. I been trending water and just practicing breathing. I got swim goggles and just waiting for a swim cap and nose clip as I keep breathing from my nose 😂 I would like to start free style swimming eventually and hopefully do a lap across the beach. It’s the only thing I been keeping at. I feel relaxed and able to just not think about everything that is bothering me in my life.

I also would like to learn a new language. I slowly been trying to learn Spanish but it’s hard to stay focus compared to swimming.

My other goal is to try and study for security plus exam but it’s been difficult to sit still and study or watch training videos. Only reason why I would to accomplish this is to have a certification if I do end up pursuing another job.

Not sure I’m I am taking too much on to keep my mind distracted from depression. I did order some running shoes and cross trainers if I start running or biking again.

Last thing is I have my second session this week with a life coach. I briefly looked at the paper work she sent me but I haven’t did any of the exercises on it.

I’m hoping I can be better.

I have ATT unlimited and I need to get away from their price gouging

Can someone help me choose?

Currently paying $160 a month for 2 lines att

I have no clue what dark, light and warp is.

I just want the best for the affordable price.

I know that Verizon network has more coverage where I live.

I’ll be bringing over two lines. I understood that it’s possible to get each unlimited plan under one account.

Thank you.

edit.

thanks for all your guys help and responses. I went ahead and made the switch. i understand the speeds now and choosen warp speed so i can ride verizon network. i wish i had done this sooner instead of giving my hard earn $ to evil att.

Has anyone switched over to totalwireless by Verizon?

I’m looking at switching cellular carriers from ATT and I know that Verizon has better coverage on the big island.

It does seem that their customers support is bad but if the cell service works I am happy to pay $25/month.

The only time I ever had to reach out to ATT or customer support is to complain about my bill.

edit.

ya totalwireless = bad support can't even get a hold of anyone by phone or chat.

usmobile definitely better support. easy to get a hold of someone via chat or phone. i was able to ditch att.

the nice thing for usmobile that not only am i saving $$$$ I can switch to another network if verizon does end up being poor for me and ride back on att network.

if you guys haven't switch and still with big name cellular provider you should look at usmobile. even their reddit page is helpful!

How many of you are paying over $50 or $100 a month for internet? Just a heads up that if you haven't you should really renegotiate your bill.

It’s that time of year when you’ve had your Internet Service Provider for over a year and they decide to raise your monthly bill. Do yourself a favor and get that price lowered if you haven’t already.

Call them and simply say your bill is too high. Keep your cool. Stay calm. Don’t get frustrated. They’ll claim there’s nothing they can do — that’s when you ask to be transferred to the cancellation department. They’re the only ones with the authority to actually lower your bill.

Tell them your bill is too high, that you’re a loyal customer, and that you see they offer lower rates to new customers. Tell them you want that price, and don’t give in. They’ll try to talk you out of canceling and offer add‑ons they claim will “save you money.” Don’t fall for it. The moment you say their offer isn’t good enough and it’s not fair for them to raise your price while advertising lower rates (and maybe even higher speeds), they’ll cave.

Got my bill down to $40/year for 600 Mbps. Enjoy. Aloha!
