Long boy, short, the gist of it is that around two years ago I got these books as a gift and I thought I’d pull them back out and reread them.

When I did so I found out the pages were coming the binding and whatever was used to seal the ink is gone or worn off or something and now the words smudge incredibly easy.

these have only been read once and then stored on a bookshelf. Now the pages are all delaminating from the cover.

Did I just get really really unlucky?

So my machine has x+ going up x- going down y- going left and y+ going right.

But all Gcode from the regular aspire GRBL post says the X moves are - moves.

But my origin is down and the stuff is above it so it clearly should make positive moves.

Am i doing something wrong? i normally use fusion 360 and can manually flip X

So the first moves should be a positive in X and a negative in Y. Instead this is my first move

so I designed this spinning brush holder “don’t judge it’s not finished yet”

I also designed a thrust bearing to go with it due to the size 4 inches for the bottom and 3 for the top

problem is if I set it in as is it will soon but fall apart when picked up.

is there a way to trap the thrust bearing in so it can be moved without falling apart.

Kind of a weird question

I wanted to swap to aspire for my simple stuff/ signs because i handles open vectors and v carving better.

When using the array copy why is there no way to preview where the copys are going to be before hitting copy??

Am i missing somtthing

much to improve but I don’t know if I hate it.

I only thought to try because I found some fancy mech pencil at work with a 0.5 lead and thought it made my handwriting better.

Im working on it myself but at the same times it got a weird looking profile.

I thought a sketch and an extrude but that makes it flat and not that weird mobius strip design.

Maybe a sweep with a weird 3d profile for the guidelines?

I have no clue why it does this. only when graphics acceleration is on
