What FF movies let you down?

I always see a list of everyones favorites.

But I want the ones that you went in excited, and came out disappointed.

I have three:

It doesnt get any better than this (2023)

The Last Cabin (2025)

Skinamarink (2022)*** Not really found footage? Adjacent though?

Could be because the first two I saw articles hyping it up, "rare" movie screening, once in a year screening, cant watch online ! etc etc.

And then I see it and the acting is very poor, characters were written poorly/to be intentionally annoying or antagonistic, and overall bland story line.

I loved Skinamarink and also was let down by it. Watched it 3 times, could be a me thing though. I fell asleep watching it because at some point it became too long, too quiet, and I felt too warm on the sofa....but it captures nightmares so genuinely well. :(

[CA] Can you be fired for saying you do not like Black people at work?

I apologize if it seems like a stupid question. I only ask because my supervisor had called someone over text the N word with the hard R and he was never fired for it (the co-worker he told that to left the company with compensation). So im not sure if its the company or they know loop hole laws I don't. Im asking because I do not know.

I had a coworker on break recently tell me and another that she didn't like black people, its been reported to HR. I haven't said anything since and I have not talked to her. However she has been going around telling others at work DURING WORK what she said, stating its her opinion, and now is trying to actively get people on her side. She told a supervisor and he told his wife about it (they both work here too) and now pretty much everyone knows whats going on. I have not said a word except for HR and a trusted supervisor.

It's getting stressful now because people are coming up to me to talk about it, can you be fired for saying something like that? She filed an HR complaint about me but she lied in her report. Stating that I didnt like an opinion she made on 1 coworker, and shes offended that I was offended by her opinion....

I don't 100% trust our HR guy because he tells other departments HR complaints and gossips about it. Should I just keep documenting everything as its going along anyway and just send it to him?

Sorry this is stressing me out and im not very well versed in these things.

Trying to find a FF video I saw maybe 10 years ago?

I got it at Amoeba in los angeles. It was not really labeled just the name on a blank/basic DVD case...and I forgot the name.

All I remember from it:

Its black and white.

Its a couple, older couple who go around driving in town to pick up people who need a ride.

I remember they picked up this girl who needed a ride, brought her home, and made her have a tea which knocked her out.

I believe they put her in the basement of her home.

They have other victims where they numb them and torture them.

I remember I left the room because there was a scene where a nude male was in a bathroom, drugged up, and they were cutting off his...member and blood gushed everywhere so I couldnt handle it.

* Im not 100% sure if im confusing this part with another movie...but I think the couple has kids, and one kid saw the girl locked up in the basement. When the kid was caught, the parents told him he should've never looked in the basement, and then they decided to kill the kid too.

[CA] Coworker told me they didn't like Black people on break, do I bother reporting?

It's messed up. And I was appalled. They doubled down on it after I also mentioned I have Black/African heritage.

But its on break, and it was vocally said. Is there even a point or no?

I want to play Gamecube on a projector with neighbors (need tech advice)

Hey everyone! I really love the idea of community playing, I know the handle design on the Gamecube was meant to encourage that and I'm encouraged!

I recently made a thread on my city's subreddit wondering if anyone wanted to play Mario kart and if they had a wall / garage I could play on. I was wonderfully surprised how many wanted to hang out!

QUESTION though:

What are the things I would NEED to set up a Gamecube, connect it to a projector in order to play outside? We would need a power source as well, so that's where extension cables come in. I've never done it before, but I want to make the set up in my house first to make sure it all works. I have a projector, BUT if there are better ones that could work in this situation let me know what I should be looking for.

SECOND FUN QUESTION:

What are some multiplayer games I should get? I want to get the 8 controller set up for mario kart.

But what 4 player games are fun?

I have: Mario kart, Smash bros melee, Ribbit King, Mario party 4, Kirby air ride, Super monkey ball.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I dont think he means it in a bad way. But he didnt know how to explain it.

I guess i just have severe anxiety due to upbringing and ive really erased a lot of those memories but kept the attributes like major depression, anxiety, sleep terrors etc etc. And its so "normal" to me to instantly think that im annoying to everyone, that im a failure, that im 30 with nothing to show for. Im trying but its hard sometimes when im my worst enemy. I always feel like im being judged even if im not i always feel like it. Tormented by my own thoughts I guess.

Its mochi rice cakes with cheese inside and cholula on top........they are my new favorite snack

I always think about my little prince Mochi. My whole life Ive always wanted a rabbit and got one for Christmas when I was in highschool. He lived to be 13. I will always love you Mochi♡ Its been almost 3 years now but I always think about you everyday. Even in your old age, not being able to walk anymore, you were always so loving and ready to give kisses. The sweetest baby♡
