Nightlife in Tagaytay

My cousin is getting married in Tagaytay later this year. Where can we find nighlife in the area for one last hurrah? (something like a "bachelor party")

Casual Fashion for us slightly chunky guys

I used to live in New York ~10 years ago and I was very much into dressing up - slim pants, layered tops, etc. It was great and appropriate.

Time has passed, I've put on some weight, have kids, am tired all the time, but now I find myself going back to the office (in SF). I'm looking for clothes that fit are fashionable, comfortable, fit me just right without looking like a parachute (am 5'10, 220 with a very proper dad gut and thick thighs). I also want clothes that wash well and hold up to the wash.

What are some brands that work well for you in terms of durability and fit? I'm ok paying a bit (think $50 t-shirts is totally fine so can be an upgrade over Uniqlo/Gap/Banana Republic if necessary).

Chase Edit Hotel Stay Review: St Regis San Francisco

My family (wife and two young kids) decided to have a staycation at the St Regis SF for my wife's birthday this past weekend. We were between the St Regis and Palace Hotel, both offering different pros/cons. The St Regis was considerably more expensive at ~800 per night after taxes and fees where the Palace Hotel was closer to 475/night. What ultimately swayed us were:

* this review that kept popping up during google searches - https://worldtraveladventurers.com/where-to-stay-in-san-francisco-with-kids-st-regis-san-francisco-review/ (which unfortunately was very misleading)
* online mentions of how family friendly the St Regis can be
* similarly, how much you hear about their legendary "Butler" service in online reviews.

Overall I thought our stay was good but not worth the price and/or price difference against the Palace Hotel. Here is what we liked and didn't like about our stay:

Stuff we liked:
* I found the hotel location to be just right. Close to Yerba Buena gardens/Moscone area for things you could walk to, and not near Market St. where there was too much street/pedestrian traffic
* Room cleaning service and staff were amazing.
* Pool was great and open 24/7. Great for night swims to end the day.
* We used our breakfast and property credit to have breakfast on both mornings we were there. The food was EXCELLENT.
* The room was immaculate. Spacious, gorgeous design, nice view.

Stuff we didn't like:
* Concierge was useless
* Front desk was not friendly. Forget any upgrades or any early check-in/late check-out.
* If you're booking through Edit, unless you're booking a suite (you're likely not), you're not getting the Butler service. Feels a bit misleading.
* The hotel gives free museum and cable car tickets to "regular" guests b/c their reservation included a $45/night destination fee. This same courtesy was not extended to us. Feels VERY nickle and dimey.

I really wanted to like the hotel, especially given how friendly most of the staff was (except probably the ones that should have been the most friendly), but unfortunately at this price point, I can't justify staying here nor recommending it to anyone else.

Afternoon Tea - Palace Hotel or Neiman Marcus

Hi folks, am looking to take my wife and two kids (ages 6 and 4) to afternoon tea this Saturday 7/18. It's my wife's birthday weekend and we're making a staycation out of it in the city.

I'm between two options and am trying to consider price/value, ambiance, kid factor (will my young kids enjoy or be a large nuisance to others, etc.) and general is the food actually good into choosing between Palace and Neiman Marcus. We're staying close to these two places so location wise it makes sense (so not really looking to travel further out).

Could anyone share some thoughts on if they've done both or either and how your experience was? Thank you!

n00b questions - upcoming first time buyer

I'm trying to up my cooler game but also want to be practical between buying Yeti vs say RTIC, especially since RTIC is significantly cheaper for similar performance. With that being said I don't mind splurging on Yeti if features/durability are better for the model/use case.

Here's the uses I'm trying to buy for:

* Lightweight beach cooler/tote
- we don't spend long times at the beach, maybe a 45 min drive, followed by ~3 hours. in these scenarios I want something to keep my stuff decently cold for this period while maximizing size to weight ratio.
- leaning toward https://rticoutdoors.com/Everyday-Insulated-Tote-Bag?color=Navy

* Roadtrip/Longer beach trip cooler/Small picnic
- Would like to prioritize a hard shell here for more versatility (can act as a seat for e.g.)
- Durable, so again preferring hard shell over soft shell
- Weight not as much of a concern since won't be lugging around as much
- leaning toward Yeti Roadie 24
- main concerns on if this is going to be "too" heavy and if I should opt for a roadie 15 but feels like that will limit my uses by being too small

Eventually I'd like to get a larger cooler to replace my Igloo rolling 60 qt which I use for small parties, but I feel that can wait a bit.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions!
