Hi I just started Mounjaro on the lowest dose and am on my second week. The first week went great. Steadily lost about .5kg every day. I suspect a lot of that is water weight.

But this came to a stall on the second week. Weight refused to budge, started to feel the cravings creep back in and then periods started about a week earlier than expected.

I generally have medium to heavy flow but this time there's hardly anything. Did anyone else also feel a major shift like this or is this something concerning I should talk to my doctor with?

Anyone faced something similar here?

I have struggled with weight most of my life, even when I was actively dancing and excercising and being active in general. I have tried dieticians, nutritionist and never got results. Doctors have shamed me for losing weight and the advice was always "just lose weight". I have recently consulted an endocrinologist who suggested mounjaro and asked me to get some tests to check against side effects.

Family and friends are suggesting taking other opinions since doctors are apparently incentivised to suggest these meds. There's also a lot of conversation around me regarding side effects. This is making me more anxious and scared regarding starting this even though I feel since I have tried out so many things in the past which didn't help, maybe I should give this a shot too.

Pretty much on a ledge here and would love to hear from people about their experiences and if they have had similar experiences.
