Update on the rescued kitten

Update on Chico ❤️

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who commented, donated, shared my post, or simply wished Chico well. Your support has meant the world to me.

Today Chico had his veterinary appointment! I left the vet invoice in the photos for anyone who would like to see it.

The good news is:

- ❤️ He's a boy!

- ✅ FIV negative

- ✅ FeLV negative

- 💉 He has already received his first vaccine.

He still needs to go back to the vet for a feline coronavirus test, along with the rest of his follow-up care, but today's news was a huge relief.

Thank you again to everyone who has helped us so far. Every bit of support is making a real difference in giving Chico the healthy start he deserves.

Desperate need help for a kitten

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out because I could really use some help.

I live in Portugal, and for a long time I've been feeding at least 10 community cats in my backyard. They spend most of their time between my house and my neighbor's house. Unfortunately, only four of them have been spayed/neutered so far, and we're still trying to get the others fixed to prevent more kittens from being born.

Recently, I rescued a young female cat who suddenly appeared here. She wasn't one of the regular cats I care for. Then, a few days later, a tiny kitten showed up. It took me three days to safely rescue him, but I finally managed to bring him inside.

Because of these recent rescues, I'm no longer able to cover all the expenses on my own. I need help feeding all of the cats, and I also need to take this kitten to the vet. He needs a full check-up, vaccinations, deworming and parasite treatment if needed, neutering when he's old enough, a microchip, and all the basic veterinary care to give him a healthy start.

I'm hoping to raise at least $150 USD to cover his veterinary expenses. I also have an Amazon Wishlist with food, supplements, and other supplies for the cats if anyone would prefer to help that way.

If you'd like to help financially, you can donate via PayPal or Kofi:

PayPal: @FlaviaMol

Kofi: https://ko-fi.com/flaviamol/goal?g=0

If you'd rather help by sending supplies, here's my Amazon Wishlist:

Amazon Wishlist: https://www.amazon.es/hz/wishlist/ls/82PX0A4QFVDF?ref\_=wl\_share

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward feeding these cats and giving this little kitten the medical care he needs. Even if you can't donate, an upvote or sharing this post would mean so much and help more people see it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for supporting community cats in Portugal. ❤️🐾

This stray showed up behind my house and completely stole my heart

A few days ago, this little cat showed up in the parking lot behind my house. She was extremely skinny, and it was obvious she had been struggling.

The sweetest part is that she wasn't scared at all. She came right up to me, climbed into my lap, lay down, and just kept asking for pets. She was so affectionate from the very first minute that I couldn't just leave her there.

I took her to the vet, and it turns out she has sores in her mouth, which explains why she wasn't eating properly. Aside from that, she's doing okay, and with treatment she should recover.

I honestly don't know if I'll be able to keep her permanently, but for now she's staying with me until she's healthy again. She deserves a safe place, good food, and all the love she can get.

I'm just really happy she found me when she did. ❤️

[UK] Loan groups scam

I joined a loan group because I genuinely needed help. One of the group owners told me they would lend me money. As payment, I sent them a gift card, but after they received the code, they kept it and never sent me the loan.

The worst part is that I can't even warn other people in the group because the person who scammed me is one of the owners. If I try to post about what happened, they'll probably delete my post or ban me from the group.

I have screenshots of our entire conversation, including everything that was said and sent. I have proof of everything that happened. Despite everything I was promised, I never received a single cent from this person. They took my gift card and never sent me the loan.

I'm really disappointed by this experience. I'm sharing this to warn others because I don't want anyone else to go through the same thing.

Looking for Advice on Adopting a Shy Stray Cat

Hi everyone! I could really use some advice.

For the past few months, there's been a little female cat that keeps coming to my backyard every single day. I always leave food and fresh water for her, and I spend time talking to her whenever she's around. She seems comfortable staying in my yard, but she won't let me get anywhere near her.

I've tried offering treats and snacks, but she still won't approach me. I have to put the food down and walk away before she'll eat.

The thing is... I'd really love to adopt her. I already have an indoor cat, and I'd love to give this little girl a safe home too.

Has anyone been through something similar? How did you gain the trust of a stray or feral cat that wouldn't let you get close? Do you have any tips for helping her feel safe around me?

Also, if I eventually want to bring her inside, what's the best way to introduce her to my resident cat? And if she never lets me touch her, would using a humane trap be the right thing to do, or should I keep trying to earn her trust first?

I'd really appreciate any advice or success stories. Thank you! ❤️🐈

My first cat, and without a doubt, the best cat in the world.

I never thought it was possible to love such a tiny little creature this much, but she completely changed my heart. She's brought me so much happiness, comfort, and unconditional love. I honestly can't imagine my life without her anymore.

She'll always be my favorite girl. ❤️🐈

I'm happy to provide proof of identity, verification, photos of my cat, or any other reasonable proof that my situation is genuine.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any help would mean a lot to me.
