CSR Chase Edit Question

I see on the Edit paper printed, that in order to get the hotel F&B credits etc... That the final bill needs to be paid on the CSR.

Are they strict on that? How would that even work as those credits are applied prior to paying.

I used my Chase Hyatt card when I checked in.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Response from the AZ AG's Office

Dear Consumer:

Thank you for taking the time to submit your complaint to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. We have reviewed your complaint but unfortunately are unable to take further action to resolve your matter.

Our Office represents the State of Arizona and is prohibited by law from representing individual consumers. The Attorney General’s Office, however, does bring cases against businesses that violate Arizona consumer protection statutes. That is why the information in your complaint is so valuable—it assists this office in identifying and tracking a possible pattern of conduct that could warrant future action. If that were to occur, your complaint is on file and will be reviewed again.

If you decide to hire an attorney and pursue this case on your own, here are some helpful Arizona resources to assist in your search:

  • AZ Bar Foundation at www.azlawhelp.org or 1-866-637-5341, to obtain a referral or find free or reduced legal aid for those who qualify.
  • Maricopa County Bar Lawyer Referral Service at www.maricopalawyers.org or (602) 257-4434.
  • Pima County Bar Lawyer Referral Service at www.pimacountybar.org or (520) 623-4625.
  • Community Legal Services, Inc. (Maricopa, La Paz, Yavapai, and Yuma Counties) at www.clsaz.org or (602) 258-3434.
  • Southern Arizona Legal Aid (Gila, Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima, Santa Cruz, Pinal Counties, and the southern half of Apache and Navajo Counties) at www.sazlegalaid.org or (520) 623-9465.
  • DNA People’s Legal Services (Coconino County, and the Navajo Nation in the northern half of Navajo and Apache Counties) at www.DNALegalServices.org or (928) 774-0653.
  • Additional resources are available at www.211arizona.org. Select “legal assistance” and then “legal aid” on the menu and search by the county where you reside. Or, you can call by dialing 211 or 1-877-211-8661.

You may also consider filing an action on your own, through your local court system.

Thank you for taking the time to file your complaint.

Sincerely,

Does anyone else get annoyed...

With how Chase posts credits to any of their cards?

I find it so damn annoying that the credit goes to the previous statement. Yes it lowers the payment, but I feel like that's moving stuff from one cycle back to the previous, and it's hard to keep track of it like that.

Makes for messy accounting in my mind when I knew what the payment was coming due for... Then the balance left after said (lower) payment is sitting there (too) high.

Bought Meta Verified...

Opened one generic ticket to get a conversation going... Closed with no follow up at all and of course no resolution.

Now I can't even make another, more detailed, ticket.

Wtf?
