Companion Synth for DN2?
Hey all, hopefully this isn't too far off topic but I'm looking for suggestions for a 2nd synth that would pair nice with DN2 and provide something different.
Currently I have Korg Minilogue XD, it was my first synth and sounds nice but its pretty simple and boring now, looking for something that is a step up and would provide a different vibe to DN2.

Has anyone had much success from free codes?
I'm curious if anyone has had much success in building fans with free codes?
I have around 40 followers, most of them came from giving away free codes but everything I've released since then it seems like they don't even bother to listen to anything. I don't even really care for sales, it would just be nice if a couple of them bothered to listen to more of my music.
We know it can bleep and bloop but can the Tonverk rock?
Finished track from the short I posted here the other day.
It's made mostly with guitar samples I recorded and put though Wavefinder.
Tonver Wavefinder Jam
Love putting samples into wavefinder, can get some super interesting sounds.
Struggling to get anything going on m8
I got my m8 on the recent release and overall I think it's an incredible device but I'm just not sure its for me.
For context my current music production setup is Elektron box's (TV, DN2, DT2) and how I make music typically is get a beat or a bass lines going then kind of jam the chords/pad/lead over the top, overdubbing.
With M8 this isn't really an option, I know its possible to connect a midi controller but I feel that defeats the purpose.
Part of the problem is that I don't know much about music so notes don't mean much but mostly I struggle with knowing where to put notes and how long to play them for as I'm so used to playing by ear/vibe.
I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue or has any advice to get started?
Edit: Thanks for all the replies. I am actually (slowly) learning music so I think if I keep at it I'll come up with something.
At the very least I'm loving having something pocket sized that I can whip out in downtime rather than doomscrolling.
Videos keep getting blocked on youtube, have been trying to get youtube artist account for close to a year
I'm pretty much loosing my marbles.
I have been trying to convert my YouTube account to link with my SC released music. I make youtube videos doing performances of my music and I keep getting blocked due to copyright.
I have sent 3 requests via SC chat bot over the past year and have never got a response.
I get that its not SC issue but I have no idea if they have even submitted my request, no way to track it.
Can anyone please advise if they have successfully done this via SC?
A Body At Rest - Tonverk Solo track (with keystep)
Trying to lean into live recording from keyboard rather then sequencing everything.
Also having fun play a bit of the track live. Hope you enjoy!
Weird TV bug/issue
I'm working on a track, I have a section where just one track is playing and I'm turning up the BR as the pattern changes. What I want is for the audio cut out completely before the change which I've achieved by adding a trigless trig and turning amp to 0 and my reverbs/effects etc.
The issue is that when the pattern changes you can hear the tail of the previous track coming back in which ruins the transition.
I have no idea why this is happening as the 2nd pattern has that track muted.
Any idea why this is happening?
Tonverk and Keystep Jam
How is everyone enjoying their Tonverk? I absolutely love mine.
Instagram refuses to share my posts
Wondering if anyone else had this issue or is able to share any insight.
I'm a small and new artist making more niche kind of music (experimental electronic) and have built a small following of subs on youtube and over the last few months on Tiktok.
My posts are typically either a video of me playing a part of a song on my electronic music hardware or my artwork/photos set to my music that is released on the platform.
On IG I have like 15 follows, most of those are just my IRL friends, I've had this Artist account for about a year. When ever I post it only ever gets like 5 to 10 views and only ever from my followers.
Compare that to my tiktok that I made just a couple of months ago, 60 followers and my posts get always around 600 700 views and about 20 to 30 likes, and a few saves/reposts. Obviously hardly viral but at least TT is showing it to people.
It's to the point where I've just stopped bothering with posting on IG.
Building a following while remaining anonymous/mysterious
One of the most common advice I see around music marketing zone is that you need to share alot of yourself online so that people build a connection and feel like they "know you"
I make instrumental electronic music, in the realm of industrial/ambient/Drone more experimental stuff and have been putting alot of work into my visuals trying to create a character or world rather then sell myself.
I'm curious if anyone here has had success with being "mysterious" for lack of a better word.
Delays with Apple Music?
My new EP dropped Friday, its on all the platforms and IG/Tiktok but not apple music. I've never had issues before, its always been there on release day.
Yes I've confirmed Apple Music is ticked on the SC and no email/notifications about any issue.
Any musicians here with an OAC
Not sure if this is the best place to ask this but I have been trying to get youtube to merge my personal youtube channel with my youtube music (Artist Name - Topic)
It's apparently impossible to speak with youtube directly. I've raised a request via my distributor but its been months now.
Anyone done this? How long did it take?
GhostN3rve - Transgression [ELECTRONIC]
A transgression remembered.
Crimson thickets. Hollow rites. Weathered marks upon the flesh.
The path narrows with each step, drawing ever deeper toward the mire and the drones that wait beneath its stagnant waters.
My new EP is out now on Bandcamp, 5 tracks of a mix of Dark Ambient, Experimental Electronic and Drone music.
Advice for promoting experimental/Ambient music
Hey All. I'm gearing up to release my new EP of Experimental Electronic / Drone / Glitch and looking for advice on the best way to promote and run meta ads.
As my music doesn't really translate to 15 second clips it's hard to know what to do for an ad. I'm wondering if anyone here that makes this type of music has any advice or success story's with promotion.
Thanks
An Attempt At Recompense (Tonverk Jam)
Really loving the Tonverk the more I use it.
