First day with the Clip Pros and I'm impressed

Impulse bought these a week ago or so when I got the email (for $79 I figured why not) I've been wary of open style ear buds but always wanted to try them because I have the worst luck getting ear buds to stay in. I'm also a pretty casual music listener now so comfort over sound quality or ANC is for me. I have dedicated Focal Bathys for that use case.

I was worried about them hurting my ear cartilage after a while but I've had them in pretty much non stop since I opened the box this afternoon with no issue.

The sound quality isn't "amazing" but for what they I'm very very impressed. Fuller mixed stuff sounds really good, especially Every Time Die's album Radical. One of my favorites to test audio stuff with. They are also really easy to position in your ear to get a good sound. No fiddling to get a "sweet spot", which was another worry of mine for this style of bud.

The smart dial on the case seems a bit... weird to me. I disabled it and haven't missed it. The dial would spin when I put it in my pocket which was annoying, the controls on the buds themselves are easy to use and customize so I don't forsee using the dial ever again.

I did fear they would look goofy when wearing them but they're pretty low profile. Either people don't notice them or just assume they're buds so no harm no foul there.

Just had a quick phone call with them and they're super nice to talk on the phone with since you can hear yourself so well. Way better than the off-putting experience of a side tone on other buds I've used.

If you're on the fence go for it. These are a win in my book!

The Wingman of the Road is awesome for touring bikes.

I've seen a lot of people talk about this tent being too big and bulky, but if you have a touring bike, like a Goldwing, it straps to the passenger seat just fine, makes a killer backrest, and I honestly don't even know it's there.

I'm currently on a 3000ish mile trip. I slept in this thing last night in Arkansas and it was great. It also got me through late summer in Ohio camping almost every weekend.

I get why people on ADV bikes wouldn't even consider it. But if you're on a large Harley/Indian/Goldwing etc this is rad.

I added a Big Agnes pad under the included foam mat, Nemo Fillow pillow, and the comfort is great. I honestly sleep just as well in this as I do at home. I leave the Agnes pad and pillow inside it when I roll it up so I don't have to store them in my tour pack or saddlebag.

2021 Non tour won't start

My 2021 GL1800 won't start. The dash, lights and everything come up just fine, battery voltage is fine etc. I can bump start the bike pretty easily.

It did get rained on overnight pretty heavily over the weekend so I thought maybe the kill switch was fried. But I can get the bike to "wake up" by holding the kill switch down for a few second and the dash and lights all come up.

I'm not really sure where to start. Ive seen mentions of a starter relay that could've gone south. Its very odd to me that I rode it all weekend (about 300 miles) with no issues and after getting rained on it does this. This isn't new to rain, I've ridden in many heavy downpours over the years and it's definitely sat outside on trips and gotten wet with no issue.

Any help would be appreciated!

Had a good amount of fun this winter and spring but a warm day on the trails is much needed at this point. Gotta love Ohio weather!
