Tips are crazy for the 4th of July, today. How is it in your area?

I see over and over and over (on this sub) people saying that most customers don't rate unless something went wrong and they're mad about something.

If that's so, then why do I see screenshots of other driver's customer ratings and they all have 95+ 5 star ratings?

If customers only rated when they're angry, wouldn't the drivers have like 95+ 1 or 2 stars, not all those 5 star ratings?

Judging by all those 5 star ratings, I'd have to say that "customers only rate when something goes wrong or they're not happy about something" - is false.

I have a 2025 SX Prestige X-Line. Is there a way for the emergency brake to auto engage when I put the car in park or turn it off?

I have a UDM Pro. Is there any reason I should use the SFP connection to connect it to my USW 24 POE switch?

I have Channels DVR running on old Windows 10 computers for the last 2 or 3 months. Setup the remote function on day 1 and have had zero problems with accessing the DVR from my iPhone when away from the house - until today.

I haven't changed any settings on my Unifi network or Channels DVR settings. But it says it can't find the server.

When I got home, I double checked that the IP address from my WAN didn't change. Nope, still the same IP address from my WAN too.

I tried connecting "away from home" and it didn't work, said failed to locate DVR because of timeout. I takes me to a screen where I can "authorize" something, I click on that, nope nothing.

I've restarted the server, deleted the Channels app on my phone and reinstalled it. Logged out, logged back in, etc... Nothing seems to work

Funny thing, during testing, I've turned off my WiFi on my phone to make sure that I'm not connected to my network and using my mobile provider internet. If I'm at home, I can connect (although it takes a few seconds). I'm I walk down the street, nope, won't connect.

So why would being at home and NOT connected to my WiFi work and being down the street won't?

I'm having no problems with my Apple TVs using the Channels DVR either.

Have a $4 incentive for every express shopping order between 3pm and 11pm today.

Only a few of the express shopping orders have the incentive tag.

What's up with that? I've doubled and tripled check the store it applied to and made sure it was the correct day, etc...

I did one express shop for the and got the incentive, the next express shop order didn't have it (along with most).

Is fartmart only applying the incentive tags to express shopping for people that paid the $10 (not the $5)???

When shopping an order, do y’all connect to Walmart WiFi or just stay on your mobile carrier service?

Did a shop this morning and the app went back to behaving like it before they changed the map that everyone hates.

If you're going to keep reducing pay for apartments, businesses and shops or add far out drops for $1 more to what would have been a good short mile trip, how about you fucking raise the minimum $4 tip for orders less than $35 to at least $5 - you turds.

So, I've been doing Spark part-time for almost a year and a half. In the last 3 weeks, I've gotten three 1 star ratings. Prior to that, I had zero 1 star ratings.

With the reduction in payout for shops, apartments, businesses and horrible offers, I've done more curbsides if the offer was good enough.

Weird though, when I first started I did curbsides all the time and never had any issues. Usually 5 star the occasional 4 star and rare 3 star, but the last three weeks, I feel like I've been getting beat up on the ratings.

Anyone else have a rash of horrible ratings the last month?

I haven't done anything different that I normally do.

So, today I accepted an order, but I didn't catch that it was for a store clear across town. Cancelled it. Next order, I picked up my phone to look at it and accidentally hit the accept button. Going to a part of town I refuse to go in.

Got the 3 hour time out. I was my understanding that you had to cancel several before that kicked in. Those are the only two I've cancelled all week.

Did Spark change their rules?

I did cancel both of those before I hit "start trip"

AI start learning which orders I take? I keep getting trash offers for a trash town 30 miles away that I have NEVER taken, but yet keep getting bombarded with them in the for of JFY

How many of you take GMD orders and deliver the items where another driver has dropped of an item or two (different items)?

Makes me think that someone's order couldn't be 100% completed at once and the other items are being delivered by two different drivers (probably) from two different Walmarts.

Then it makes me wonder, how many times have you drop off an item and other items are still waiting to be delivered from another Walmart, the customer picks up the item you dropped off and sees that the rest of the order isn't there and gives you a bad rating not knowing that the rest will be delivered by another driver from different Walmart?

Customer can still rate drivers on GMD deliveries, right?

All y'all still taking those? With the app glitches where the items in the order doesn't match up with what's being brought out and loaded into your car, it's impossible to double check and make sure each customer is getting the correct items.

Did a large shop yesterday. Went fine, everything was actually in stock and didn't need to do any substitutions (I was shocked).

Anyway, shopped it and delivered it. Didn't even make it out of the neighborhood before something didn't feel right. I pulled over and double checked my car. Sure enough, there was a bag of potatoes that I didn't grab (don't know how that happened). Immediately turned around and went back to the house to drop the item on the front porch.

I noticed they had already got their groceries off the porch. I put down the potatoes and rang the doorbell (per the instructions).

Checked my ratings this morning, sure enough 1 star. Seriously? I didn't even make out of the neighborhood and no more than 3 or 4 minutes had gone by.

I'm sure their shitty tip will be removed too.

Is it just me, but I found that hitting the flash button to light up where the item is located is only working half the time the past 2 days.

Is it a phone issue, an IOS issue, a network issue, a walmart issue? Anyone have an idea? I've deleted and reinstalled the Spark app and restarted my phone, nothing works. Even connected to the cheesy Walmart WiFi - didn't work.

Harder to read the modular location with the new shelf labels, I rely on the flash. I love the flash. I've become addicted to the flash. I need my flash fix.

Mulch BS Update

So, another curbside and another instance of mulch not being listed. I went ahead and took it because it was only 2 bags and pay worked out.

I called support to complain. Told them it wasn’t listed and it’s a heavy/bulky order. He said they adjust pay and expect the additional pay in 48 hours.

I asked him what the hell was going. He blamed the stores. I asked if the store was able to hide items on curbside deliveries. He said no, but they have the option to modify orders and add/delete items and adjust quantity.

So, is this the bullshit that’s going on? Did Walmart tell stores to adjust orders and add the mulch because drivers don’t want that crap in their car?

If stores are doing this, they are stealing pay rightfully owed to drivers for the bulky items.
