Thought this sub might like some of my recent illustrations

I draw a lot on my iPad using Procreate. It’s an older iPad Pro 4th generation.
I’m inspired by Moebius’s (obviously) although I’ve been drawing with the same kind of theme long before I knew who he was. I also love Scavengers Reign and the art style used in the game No Man’s Sky. My main inspiration for my line art is the Tin Tin comics.
I always use the same colour palette which gives the images consistency and I think this makes them feel like they belong to the same universe.
I’ve posted a few before so sorry if you’ve seen some of these drawings in other posts.
Thanks for looking!

A few with a similar feel

These seem to have quite a consistent feel to them. Drawn on my iPad using Procreate

Moving from traditional pen and ink to digital drawing

I drew in a more traditional pen and ink style for years. I moved over to using an iPad for convenience but could never quite get the images to stop looking so digital and stiff. This year I’ve finally found a work flow that I’m happy with.

A lot of my artwork is inspired by the show, you might find it enjoyable.

I’ve posted some of my artwork here in the past. But that was a while ago and I have since drawn a lot more. Plus I think I’ve gotten a little better so thought it would be nice to share some of them here again.

14 hours spent on this book cover

I painted this with the Nikko Rull brush. Still very much learning to get to grips with digital painting

Yeah that’s a Roland ‘Dr Beat’

II drew all the linework with a basic pen with no tapering or pressure. The lines are all done at the same width, except for the guy in the background, he’s a little bit thinner. I then colour block everything before adding about 10 layers of shading with varying transparency.

Who would buy this from the bargain bin?

I’ve been trying a new style lately. I’ve always admired those who can create digital art that looks like paintings. So this week it’s been my main focus.
I’m already thinking of the next one!

VHS dark fantasy mock up

I was told you may like this digital painting here. Done in Procreate, no Ai. Timelapse video will be on my socials when I post it.

Need help with paper wearing effect - VHS COVER

I’m in the process of finishing this painterly dark fantasy dungeon piece. I want it to look like an old VHS or cassette’s sleeve.
The effect that I want is that old paper peeling you get over time. When the off white card starts to show underneath the printed cover after years of handing and sun damage.
Thin white cracks, creases and folds around the edges.

I’m thinking I could - add - copy canvas - paste a copy over and off white background and then use some sort of textured eraser, but I’m not sure what would work.
I could also probably use some sort of vector/print of a VHS box, but that feels a bit less controlled.

Any ideas?
