Looking forward from here

I think it would be best for the Knicks to play Cleveland, but I think they can beat both of them. Cleveland may be easier since the Knicks didn’t do too well against the Pistons this year.

But when they do win against either opponent, the Thunder will be a challenge.

Of course, we can’t ever get ahead of ourselves, but just to comment on the potential match-up with the Thunder:

The Knicks need to play damn near perfect basketball to beat them, but I think they could do that.

If you look at them, they have vulnerabilities. SGA is not playing that well overall so far, and they still have Jalen Williams out with a hamstring injury. And the Knicks have injury problems too, but they seem minor since Anunoby will be there for the finals, and Hart and Robinson seem to be managing their injury issues.

The Knicks, in terms of star power, are actually a degree above the Thunder: Brunson is almost on par with SGA, but KAT is well above the next Thunder stars IMO, so it kind of balances out.

The Thunder have only one superstar in SGA, and the other two behind him are stars, but not on KAT's level, so it kind of balances out.

So, the Key to the Knicks beating them is the other players. They have to step up and play beyond their ability, I think, for the Knicks to win.

That’s all I have to say about that, since the Knicks have to first get to the finals through either a tough Pistons team or a challenging high-powered Cleveland squad.

But the Knicks are on an unprecedented roll and playing better than any team in all of the playoffs, including the undefeated Thunder, and in sports, usually the team that gets on a roll wins.
