Need advice on timing.

Need advice.

I am currently taking Lex at 10am. The last two nights at 10pm I felt awake and NORMAL. Reading this you might say, take it at night. However when I take it at 10am I cannot nap. If I can’t nap, how would it let me sleep if I switched to nights. My nights are a mess already, I am waking up several times so I’m exhausted during the day. Idk what to do.

Buspar and Lexapro

I started 7.5mg twice a day in January. I added Lexapro 11 days ago. I find now that when I take buspar, it makes me so sleepy which it’s never done before. Has anyone else had this experience? At this point I’m getting hit with drowsiness 3 times a day and I cannot function.

10mg to 5mg?

I am on day 9 and cannot function bc the fatigue. If I go down to 5mg should I expect any side effects after 9 days?

AM or PM

Currently taking at 7:45am. I cannot sleep after this until it makes me crash at 9pm then I’m up between 2-3am and can’t go back to sleep for more than a few minutes at a time.

Should I try a different schedule, I can’t get tf out of bed 😵‍💫

Day 5- this is my “ready to quit the meds” day 😫

10mg. Anxiety has been a 10. Valium lessened but not much. Ready to throw in the towel but trying to stick through it since I’m already 5 days in.

Intrusive thoughts

Has anyone experienced an increase in intrusive thoughts/OCD-type anxiety after starting or restarting estrogen?
I restarted estradiol on July 12 after being off of it for a while. About 11 days later, I had my first really intense, distressing intrusive thought, and since then my anxiety/OCD symptoms have been much louder.
The weird part is that I took estradiol before and don’t remember having this problem at all. This time I was already taking buspirone when I restarted it, so I’m wondering if my brain/body is just responding differently this time or if the hormonal adjustment itself could be stirring things up.
I’m talking with my doctors and not looking for medical advice, just curious if anyone else with peri has experienced intrusive thoughts or an OCD/anxiety flare when starting or changing HRT. If so, did it eventually settle down?

Sinus infection?

I’ve been battling with this since Friday but I’ve also had congestion and clogged ears. Went to dr today and confirmed sinus infection. Could that be what I’m actually feeling??

Anyone sensitive to caffeine now?

Bc why not? I get a ton of anxiety after drinking coffee now where it used to be one of my favorite things in life, now I’m nervous to drink it.

Get me off this ride.

Restarted estradiol-noreth pills exactly two weeks ago. I had stopped in May after starting them in Jan. I am on a constant rollercoaster of feeling great one minute and feeling dread the next. All day, every day. Anyone else experience this and when does it stop? I did not have this the first time I took it.

Rumination

How the hell do I get my brain to stop scanning for something to panic about? I get so frustrated that I can’t just tell it to shut up and move on with my life. What works for you?

Exhausted

I stopped Estradiol about two months ago and I think this was a mistake. I have been living in a state of depersonalization and derealization for two days and idk how to snap out of it. Going to restart the hormones today and hope for the best.

At a loss…

I started Estradiol in January primarily due to heightened anxiety. I stopped in May bc the stroke risk and vaping scared me. The week I stopped I had an absolute monster of a night where every time I fell asleep, I immediately woke right back up. This went on until 4am. Since then I’ve been scared to go through this again which resulted in a few other terrible nights but nothing like the first night. So every time I turn over to go to sleep my brain starts ruminating and it’s making my life hell.

Is anyone else experiencing terrible bedtime anxiety? I’m also considering going back on the estradiol bc this shit is not it.
