Archived puzzles marked incomplete on website but complete on app

(Sorry if this is the wrong flair)

I'm newer to crosswords and have been going through the archive from the past few years by day of the week. I've noticed while going through the Monday puzzles that I'll finish them and get the congratulations screen but then they will show up as incomplete. However, I checked on the app yesterday on my phone (android) and my iPad and they were marked complete with the blue star. I'm only talking about 3/6/23, 12/9/24, and 1/29/24 in the added photo.

Has anyone else run into this issue? How did you go about fixing it?

Free Airfryer (Ideally for current/incoming UCL student)

Hey everyone, lmk if this type of post isn't allowed.

I've got a Gourmia air fryer I need to get rid of as I'm moving out of the UK after I finish my MA. The funny thing about is its been given away between different UCL students after finishing their programmes and moving back to their home countries.

If anyone wants to help me carry on this tradition, let me know. It's in great working condition and I still have the manual. Must pick up before September 10th.

Threw up in uber and bank transferred him £150 pounds .Will I get banned from Uber?

Before anyone tries to say otherwise, know that I am aware that I am ONE HUNDRED PERCENT IN THE WRONG in this scenario.

I embarassingly did not handle my alcohol (as well as electric cars making me nauseous even when I'm sober---I did not click electric and was given one for UberX) and threw up multiple times while in the Uber. However, 99% of the vomit ended up on my clothes instead of the interior of the car (thankfully).

I offered to get out of the car right away, bank transfer the driver, or stop at an ATM and give the driver cash--Whatever worked best for him. He ended up dropping me about a 2 minute walk down the street from my flat and I received his bank transfer info from him before getting out of the car. He told me to pay him £30 but I paid him £80 and made sure he received it before I got out of the car. Then, afterwards I still felt horrible obviously and sent him 50 quid more. I know I'll also be receiving the cleaning fee for sure. I get it though I am 100% in the wrong here.

Will this happening get me banned from Uber? I really hope not because I am disabled and during my most debilitating times I rely heavily on it.

Do I need to provide previous name for background check if I never used it in the UK?

I'm an American living here and applying for a new job. The application asks for any previous names and that they will need documentation to prove the name change. However, I changed my name before I got here and I don't think they'd care or at least take the only documentation I have, which is from the county in my state. I suspect this just because my uni wouldn't change my name in their system until I got my new passport and they did not care about that documentation.

I'm also just unsure about how background and DBS checks work (the job is in a secondary school setting) so if anyone could provide me any clarification that'd be lovely.

Aquiring hEDS Support on NHS? (confused american living in the uk)

Hey! I'm 23 FTM and was diagnosed with hEDS March of 2025. I was supposed to start PT for it but ended up moving out of the US and to London for grad school before I could get off of my hospitals waitlist (outside providers were unwilling to help because I "had enough mobility" as if having a lot of mobility isn't the problem 🙃)

From living in a walkable city for 9 months now, my pain has become so much worse. Knees have always been my biggest issue, hurting all the time no matter what, with flares of my ankles/Achilles and wrists. I used to use weed to help with the pain but since moving I've been unable to because of weed being illegal here.

I'm currently in a pain flare of all the parts that tend to bother me. I haven't been able to treat my knee pain in any way on my own because I have large enough calfs (wider than my thighs) that compression sleeves don't work. I think its because of the way I walk.

Anyway, I'm looking for advice about how to receive care, likely OT or honestly anything through the NHS? My GP has my medical records about EDS but when I first registered with him (and the last time I saw him) back in December my pain hadn't been anywhere near as bad as it is now.

Do I just reach out to my GP? What exactly do I say or ask about?

I'm coming from a background where I had ok enough private healthcare coverage in the US. I do still have coverage there because I'm under 26 and on my mother's health insurance plan still but can only visit once or twice a year from now on so receiving any care there isn't possible.

Anyway, the pain has been

Switch 2 left joycon joystick AND D-Pad drifting

Used my switch 2 (handheld mode) for the first time in about nine days. For some reason trying to use both my left joycon joystick and dpad is impossible as both just get stuck going permanently left when I try to go right across menus or in games.

I didn't notice the dpad part initially and took the joycon off then blew on the joystick a bit and reattached it. It began working for about 30 seconds until I pressed the right button the d-pad. Then, it started glitching like that again INCLUDING the joystick.

What might be causing this? Should I send it in for repair? I'm not sure how that would work or if it'd be affected by me no longer living in the country I purchased it in.

EDIT: Near directions on the dpad or joystick result in this. For example, if I'm on the home page, with the default highlight of the most recent game and press the down, left or right button, it instead forces left and instead of being able to access anything to the right or below, it forces me back to the initial highlighted icon.

I’m an american trans man who lives in england now. i’m just trying to get prescription hayfever meds from boots and they’re asking for my birth gender. All of my documents are set to Male and the NHS has me down as Male, though I do currently get a continued T prescription through my GP.

Does it make a difference if I put down Male instead?
