For all the people complaining that Wolverine shouldnt be able to die and having a health bar doesnt make sense, one thing to remember is that this is an adaptation of the character so not everything is going to be a 1:1 of the comics. Most adaptations of comic book stories change things to fit our current times and give some realism. These aspects allow more relatability and also help reach broader audiences. However there are fundamentals elements that should be implemented to stay true to the character. One of these things for Wolverine is that he regenerates. But it does not break the character if his regenerative ability is limited. Like if he cant regenerate if you cut his head off or set him on fire.
