I’m starting school full time online next week and I got an email to choose my elective a couple weeks ago. I submitted my choices immediately and got the confirmation email which said it should be reflected on my ACSIS account in 2-3 business days. Still nothing on my ACSIS account and I have confirmed that my fees are deferred. Anyone else have this problem? Is it just going to pop up on the first day?

Friday morning, I called my uber to work at 5:30am. The uber got there in 5 minutes then drove about 6 houses down and pulled over and was like “wait you’re going *****” and I said “yeah” and he said “I have to be downtown by 6am I can’t drive you there” as if he doesn’t get the location when he accepts the ride???? So he turned around, dropped me off & I had to call another uber. He also wasn’t cancelling the ride so I did & got charged $5 so I have to call uber and let them know.

My nephew turns 10 next week and I want to get him something that is outdoorsy but nothing with tennis balls or super small pieces because they have a large, blind dog. They do live by a park so he can go there to play with stuff. He already has basketballs & soccer balls. I don’t want to spend too much, maybe maximum $40 because he usually doesn’t end up playing with whatever I get him, or he breaks it immediately. Depending if it’s something really good I could spend a bit more. He’s used to playing on a phone and I want to keep him out of the house but not with something too childish. He is also an only child so something that’s fun to do by yourself is a bonus. Thank you in advance!

My poppa is 80 years old, in a retirement home and hasn’t really been in his right mind for years now. Whenever I look up things to keep him busy, it says puzzles but I don’t think he is actually really capable to do them. He seems to be super bored. He is confined to his wheelchair. Does anyone have any suggestions of things I can buy for him to keep his mind a bit more occupied that won’t be too hard for him & stress him out? My sister mentioned stacking cups and I think it’s a great idea. Just looking for more suggestions!

I’m starting ECE online in September. Do I need my vaccinations & CPR & Police record check before I start?
I keep reading different things everywhere but I know you don’t start the placement right away so I don’t want to get the police check too early. It also says to submit the ECE practicum request form but I don’t have my email yet, do other people? I don’t know if I’m just overthinking it too much but I don’t want to not have everything by the time I need it. Thanks in advance
