Tips on visiting National Park

My family and I will be visiting Washington for the Blue Jays series at the end of July. Do you have any good tips to share on attending a game? Where can we meet the mascots? Where can we get autographs for the visiting team?

As worn by Nathan Lukes here, has anyone found this Nike dry fit shirt in the city? I can only find it on the MLB shop website.

Extreme heat warning on Canada Day

Environment Canada has issued an orange-level heat warning (second-highest) for Toronto tomorrow. It’s going to be extremely hot with the Dome likely open.

We encourage everyone to:
• Wear a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses
• Drink plenty of water
• Take breaks in the shade when needed

You can bring in sealed plastic bottles or cans (max 600 mL) of non-alcoholic drinks. No glass or metal bottles.
Drinking fountains and refill stations are located at:
• 100-Level: near 101, 115, 128, 143
• 200-Level: near 207, 218, 230, 241
• 500-Level: near 507, 516, 521, 531, 541

Yes, these are common sense things. But we’ve seen fans earlier this season be taken away by paramedics due to the heat; let’s all look out for each other and enjoy Canada Day at the ballpark safely.

r/torontobluejays Meetup!

We are planning the first-ever r/torontobluejays meetup, but we need your input to make it a success!

Please fill out this 2-question survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf-5J6zRUKvq4ZAZdpdVdj0XoDfpg8zCFThidkiTRUJ17KdwA/viewform?usp=dialog

We had an issue with the previous survey, so it was deleted. If you already filled it out, please do this one too!

We want to iron out the details and lock in the best game that works for the most people. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!

New Blue Jays flair emojis have been created!

I've created several new emojis, cool Blue Jays icons you can have shown below your username when using this subreddit!

By popular demand, I've made a Davis “rally cup” emoji, a kazadilla emoji, and a few more for Kaz. Requests also welcome!

Instructions:

Mobile: Click the three dots on the top right of the subreddit. Click "Change user flair". Pick a random flair, click the "Flair tex" box at the bottom, and click the smiley face to bring up the emojis. You can edit the text too. When done, check "Show my flair in this community" and click "Save".

Computer: On the right side of the subreddit, where it says "User Flair", hover over your username and click the pencil. Pick a random flair, click the pencil next to it, and click the smiley face to bring up the emojis. You can edit the text too. When done, check "Show my user flair on this community" and click "Apply".

Just a heads-up for families coming to tomorrow’s game that the outdoor activities have been cancelled. They will still have activities inside the Dome.

This is the 2025 AL Champions ring, as given out during a private team ceremony. Oh how we wish it said something different at the top…

Blue Jays Fan Here - Huge Thanks for the Great Time at Truist Park!

A few weeks ago I came here asking for advice as a Jays fan prepping for my first trip to Atlanta, and you all were awesome. We had a great time (other than the Jays losing).

We lined up at the third base gate and no one batted an eye at our clear drawstring bags. I was fully prepared to have them taken away based on the bag policy, but we sailed right in. All the game day staff and fellow fans around us were super friendly and welcoming.

You guys are lucky to have a nice stadium with lots to do in the Battery. My only real complaint as a visitor is that Uber really seems to be the only way to get back to downtown Atlanta where we were staying. That part was a bit of a pain.

I also wish there was better signage for the seating sections on the main concourse, so that as you’re walking along, you can find your seating section easily. Big, visible bright signs would make a big difference. Also, it would’ve been cool to have fan photo ops with the mascot or Home Depot characters!

Hoping you guys come to Toronto next year!
