maintaining abs as a woman

maintaining abs as a woman is one of the hardest parts. i see influencers and gym girlies have flat abs while i struggle. i recently learned all of us struggle to do it. i bloat before my period and i start feeling fat inside my head. it took me months to accept that it is okay. so girlies if you feel like abs gone and you feel bloated, it is okay. you need not stay flat and chic like those influencers all the time. you can be yourself. just wanted to put this down here.

nobody cares about your body more than you!

ps: ungaluku abs ey ila la soltu vara kudathu.

oh! how i love being a woman

apart from all the torment i go through, i love being a woman. few clicks from last month!

  1. i went to a museum for the first time. haven’t gone out in so long and i decided to do this. i loved everything there, it was so calm. there was this small room that had a glass painted ceiling and i was in literal awe. the picture did no justice but still it was one of most beautiful thing ever.

  2. my flatmate’s boyfriend usually brings home cookies, cupcakes from his workplace. the day he brought home this, he texted me the previous night saying cupcakes waiting for you. i was so happy. it’s nothing big, they are usually there in the kitchen and anyone can have them but this felt awww.

  3. so i love going to parks and i took this picture. i posted it on reddit and someone commented wallpaper material. nanu chumma wallpaper vechu pathen, it looked cool. i sent that person a screenshot of this too. that person sent me a few cool pictures they’ve clicked. that was cute too.

  4. as i said, i love going to parks. that was the first day i had food at the park. i usually go alone and haven’t felt like i could eat there or smth like that but that day i had pasta at the park. it felt liberating for some reason. it felt like i have transcended to the next state of monk-ness and idgaf.

  5. this is a very funny one. my flatmate broke his charger cable and for a week we’ve been sharing my cable. so i usually leave it under his door at night and he reruns it back by sliding it under my door in the morning. i felt it funny and nice at the same time. idk if it’s cool but IT IS COOL TO ME.

  6. been skipping beer for so long and after a very long time i jolly ah had moonu beer. i did random stuff, i scribbled smth, listened to random songs, overall i had a good beer sesh after a longggg time.

  7. this is my version of somberi chicken. oru beer potu i was cooking this chicken, i was laughing the whole time for nothing. drunk cooking is maja. the chicken tasted damn good btw!!

i grew up romanising the smallest things in life and that has kept me alive and going for the longest time. i love being a woman for this reason. i romanticise life ❤️

where can i move to in england?

i will be working remotely and will be asked to come to London once a week. i wanna stay somewhere quiet, easy to commute and strictly a studio. i was thinking of Northampton or somewhere maybe two hours away from london and a budget of £700-800 a month. i want the place to be quiet and would love parks.

i currently stay in london and want to move. which would be feasible and comfortable place for me to stay.

discussion on male friendships

i got into this conversation with ppl on the internet on guy friendships and i need opinions!!

men friendship, pasanga friendship nu glorify panrathu i’ve seen. first of all, can men talk their feelings to their friends? all this vidra pathukalam doesn’t count. what is that vidra pathukalam doing to you, you are just distracting from whatever you are feeling and glorify a friendship that isn’t reciprocal.

can you cry in front of your guy friends? yes/no. yes, i appreciate you and your friends for something very basic that a friend could do for you as a friend and if no, why? gethu poidum, weak ah nanaichupanga, payan epdi alurathu, everything. what is the whole point of friendship if you cannot show your emotions there. as much as we are trying to break stigma around men crying, your own gender doesn’t accept that.

don’t get me started on bullying in friendships. i’m glad men are speaking up now. making body shaming comments, bullying the weak and calling it friendship, ew.

and omg the way you guys handle @buse between men. vanthu solira kudathu abuse nadanchu nu, machan na anga irunthukanum machan, ne lucky da. wth is even this. you are praising @buse. you don’t even sympathise with your own gender.

do you compliment your friends? onuila, a friend wearing a nice outfit and you say macha azhaga iruka da, there’s a high probability the response would be macha gay marie panatha da. you guys have stigmatised complimenting, admiring to a sexuality.

ik how most guys consider gay as a insult. dressing up - gay. wearing pink clothes - gay. showing emotions - gay. (don’t argue me on this, i’ve had friends who have faced gay @buses or approached by gay men and their only concern is na gay marie irukana, ena patha gay marie iruka only) imagine how a low insecure life one should lead to expressing one’s emotions, feelings to a sexuality. you are not even comfortable and confident with the term masculinity that you tie to the bedroom and women’s genitals.

the double lives men lead makes me feel so miserable and pathetic for men. don’t say we are sacrificing and being responsible. you fit yourselves into a society that doesn’t accept you as you are and all of these start from you friend. you friend doesn’t accept you as you are. i can point out a lot of things that are damaging in guy’s friendship that affect the gender as a whole. ik this is the majority. i sympathise with men and feel pity.

i’ve had men come talk to me saying friends ta sonna siripanga, happens in my dms too. so i wanna know if this is most men friendships or just a small number!!

  4. beef, potato, beans (idk the name cause i didn’t make it)

im backkkkkk!

so long story short, dated a guy but he was toxic and it ended badly. i’m a very ‘all in’ person but after the breakup i couldn’t talk to people, have a conversation with guys and felt distant with my own self. finally after two years im healing, i feel peace.

i used to write a lot, lot of poems for him but i don’t know if he ever appreciated them but now ive met my nila! after two years, one random day at 5 pm i wrote this. i am happy, i am at peace, some day all of us will be, hang in there kids ❤️
