Need suggestions and advice on progress and to bulk!

I’m 26, I’ve been working out for 4 months consistently now after a break of 3 years. I have high metabolism and it’s been hard for me to put on weight. So I was skinny before I started again.

I need suggestions and tips to grow my arms and to bulk up. I don’t wanna dirty bulk though. What are some food/drink you’d suggest to put on weight?

Also, any tips on my progress so far is appreciated, thank you!

Here is my workout split:
Monday - chest & triceps
Tuesday - back & biceps
Wednesday - shoulders & legs
Friday - chest, back and biceps
Saturday - shoulders, triceps and legs

Fitness Tracker suggestion for running with GPS & Heart Rate accuracy as priority.

Makkale,
I don’t care about calling, notifications, or flashy UI—I just need reliable standalone GPS and accurate Heart Rate tracking for training.
BTW using iPhone 14, hence iOS compatibility is necessary.

My current shortlist:
Under ₹5K: Redmi Watch 5 Lite (built-in GPS)
Under ₹10K: Amazfit Active 2 / Bip 6 (on sale)

Two quick questions:

  1. Between these, which one holds a cleaner GPS lock and doesn't drop heart rate spikes during intervals?
  2. What tracker do you personally train with, and how reliable are its GPS & HR data in real-world runs?

Looking for unfiltered feedback. Thanks!

maintaining abs as a woman

maintaining abs as a woman is one of the hardest parts. i see influencers and gym girlies have flat abs while i struggle. i recently learned all of us struggle to do it. i bloat before my period and i start feeling fat inside my head. it took me months to accept that it is okay. so girlies if you feel like abs gone and you feel bloated, it is okay. you need not stay flat and chic like those influencers all the time. you can be yourself. just wanted to put this down here.

nobody cares about your body more than you!

ps: ungaluku abs ey ila la soltu vara kudathu.

What should I do next?

Vanakam nanbargale!

I have been lifting for 5 years (although only the last two with proper nutrition). I'm 6ft and 83kg -84 kg.

My strongest lifts

Squat - 102 kg 5x5

Leg Press - 131 kg 4x20

Bench press - 70 kg 5x5

All with 1 min rests between sets.

I'm not sure if I should start bulking, should it be a lean bulk or fast bulk or cut? I would appreciate your answers thank you!

Progress — honest check-in

Hey everyone, sharing my current progress. Been getting back into training consistently and focusing on improving my physique, strength and diet.
Still a long way to go, especially around the midsection, but happy with the progress so far.
Would love some honest feedback — what should I focus on most from here? 💪

Workout/exercise routine for being fit long-term.

For any PE or long-term gym guy out there, please guide me on this.

I am 26M (50KG), recently I have developed poor posture and muscle stiffness and weakness. I am doing some stretches advised by physio. But during those stretches I feel muscles are very weak for me.

I am a very lean guy with hypermobility. I have some past gym experience (I have done weight training in the past). With the heavy weight I was getting joint pain easily due to which I discontinued gym often.

But for my current condition. I just want to GRADUALLY strengthen my muscles. Because heavy weight may give me stiffness and impact my joints.

I just want a gym workout plan for this. Planning to do gym 3-4 days per week rest of the days stretch/yoga.

I haven't taken a personal trainer in the past. Is a personal trainer worth considering? If so which gym franchise near Kolathur/Perambur have good trainers?

And I am open to any general advice. On maintaining long-term physical wellness for skinny guys. (My intention is not weight gain. Rather being fit and active).
