Gonna touch 20 soon. What reality check hit you first?

For people already in their 20s, what was the first real reality check that hit you?

Was it money, friendships changing, career pressure, loneliness, realizing adults are just figuring things out too, or something completely unexpected?

A perfect scene which shows the reality!

I always loved the philosophy behind this movie and the way the dialogues were written.

Life put me in situations I didn’t expect, so I had to adjust.

Some changes just happened, and some I chose myself.

Now I wonder did life change me, or did I change on my own?

Things didn’t go as planned, but I learned a lot.

Would your old self be proud of who you are right now!?

I’ve noticed this a lot lately, both guys and girls rushing into relationships or feeling like they need to be in one all the time.

It’s not even about a specific person sometimes. It feels like they just don’t want to be single. Jumping from one relationship to another, lowering standards, or forcing something that clearly isn’t working.

I’m not against relationships at all, but the way some people don’t wait and just rush into it feels off. Like ennaku aal iruntha pothum, single aa iruntha kevalam nu oru mindset in this generation.

Some people I know haven’t even properly talked to someone before, but suddenly they start talking, get committed quickly, then repeat the same cycle after a breakup.(They can't survive without a relationship)

And then there’s this peer pressure too. Oorla ellarum relationship la irukanga da, ennaku asaya iruku da nu feel panraanga. It’s like being single is seen as something wrong.

For me, it should just happen naturally. When you force it just for the sake of being in a relationship, it usually ends badly.

Nothing wrong in being single. At the same time, I’m not saying don’t talk to people. Just don’t rush into something just because of pressure.

What do you all think?
