Lions Club Munster
The fine folks at the Lions Club and Munster PD have the lions club open on generators. Free hot dogs, burgers and water bottles. Also allowing people to charge phones.

Sunday 09/13 in Chicago!
After fighting the Ticketmaster app for Saturday tickets I hopped over to Sunday and was 400 in queue! 10th row section 3 on the floor Foolishly bought two too many tickets lol, hopefully we find a couple to join us or we can move them.

Vintage Toy Store Find
I run a body shop and recently had a customer gift me some Speed Racer toys (see my profile for pics if you’re a Speed Racer kind of person). Speed Racer doesn’t exactly scratch my nerd itch so I brought them to a local vintage toy store, and they offered me store credit. I was just gonna tell them don’t worry about it, just make sure they get to a real fan, when I saw our very own World Famous San Diego Chicken staring at me on a high shelf on the other side of the store. I ran over with tears in my eyes and said “wanna call this an even exchange?”, and walked out with a piece of home.

A Gift From a Kind Customer
I run an auto body shop. And a customer of mine recently gifted me these as “I’m too old to enjoy them anymore”. There were 5-6 cars out of package that I’m going to keep as part of a display of pop culture cars that I have in my lobby, but all the stuff in package I’m going to try and rehome to someone who loves Speed Racer more that I do.

Best wife ever, Mrs Workswood, surprised me with an early Fathers Day gift of tickets to see the man on my birthday!
We will be driving in from Chicago, and looking online I cannot wait to see the band at this beautiful venue! The Meijer Gardens are gorgeous and can’t imagine a prettier place to see a show.
