Having surgery June 8th
My MyChart shows these upcoming procedures:
- Bilateral maxillary 2-piece LeFort osteotomy
- Bilateral mandibular sagittal split osteotomy
- Possible nasal turbinectomy
I do have a virtual appointment on Friday where I’ll be able to ask questions, but I also wanted to hear from people who’ve had similar surgeries.
What was the aftermath/recovery like for you? Pain, swelling, eating, sleeping, numbness, breathing, talking, mentally/emotionally — anything you wish you knew beforehand?
