Is it too late for a Thor?

Hi everyone! Retroid Pocket 5 & Flip 2 owner here.

Im really wanting that dual screen experience and a stronger chipset. But i have the irrational fear that if I buy a Thor now it will be obsolete soon. What do you guys think? I know their are rumors of a retroid dual screen handheld, and new the snapdragon 8 gen 2 is no longer the most powerful chip we see in handhelds. Should i just send it and get the Thor?

Also would you recommend the pro or the max model? Is 16gb of ram over the top, or does it help push it to be a more end game handheld?

Switch!!

Been following the guides from you all and finally got switch running great! I’m so hype man

Edit: sorry guys didn’t expect to get so many questions. Theres a user on this specific subreddit that’s been posting switch emulation (can’t remember the user). Under his post about BOTW he drops a few settings that got his games running smooth. I followed them exactly and got decent results. Next I turned on vsync to mailbox (no idea what that means) but it works really well! For higher end games I’m still tweaking settings for individual titles, gonna try messing with asynchronous shaders and I’ve been using Mr Purple T29. Hope this helps!

Too many options

Hey everyone, I’m fairly new to the retro handheld space (bought an Anbernic Sp last year and the wifi stopped working, super discouraging) but I really like the retroid pocket 5. I want to know is there any reason to consider another device? I know the rp6 is out now, but i hear the wait time is insane and the price on Amazon doesn’t seem worth it. From what i can tell with my limited knowledge, the chipset is better in the 6 but is it enough to swing my choice? I’ve been turned off from the Thor after all the price increase and quality downgrade of the newest batches (not too mention the crazy wait time.) What do you guys think? Is there another handheld on the market that will give me a similar experience?

Hi all, I am new to this app and really excited to emulate Pokemon on 3Ds. I played for about an hour yesterday and it worked perfectly. Today the app won’t stay loaded for more than 5 minutes before crashing and closing out. I’m fairly inexperienced with emulation and haven’t adjusted any of the setting outside of the occasional speed up. My rom is an untrimmed .cia . Any help would be greatly appreciated!
