Selling my 14" Space Black MacBook Pro M3 Max.

Condition is very good overall with minor signs of normal use shown in the photos. Fully functional with no known issues.

I sent in a new/unworn pair of 1925 Troopers I picked up off the RTS page to have the original brass hardware swapped to gunmetal eyelets and hooks and after I received them back, I noticed damage around one of the eyelets. I contacted Nick’s and customer service was extremely helpful in getting them shipped back to be looked at.

I’m curious what a proper repair should look like in this area. Since the eyelet/facing takes tension every time the boots are laced, would this usually be a cosmetic repair or would it need something more structural like replacing the affected facing/eyestay panel? Not sure the pics do it justice but the gouge is pretty deep through the leather.

Mostly just trying to understand what fixed should mean in this spot.

Just received the BOTM02 a couple days ago and took them on a spin after work at Lake Pend Orielle today with the family. Went thru a few creeks to get to our rock skipping spot and they didn’t leak at all. The 365 stitchdown is as advertised. Comfy right out of the box and the perfect summer boot as they pair great with shorts. First padded collar boot and thoroughly enjoyed the extra comfort. Ignore the Whites Boots hat in the pictures 😅 but if Nicks sold a waxed hat I’d buy one in a heartbeat.

Just picked up the Tactical in Max Support Black on the RTS page. First 365 stitch down from them and wow are they comfy. Excited to use these as my camp and fishing boots. Does anyone know if I go to Nicks if they will swap out some of the eyes for hooks?

Rocking the Truman Light Coyotes today. Lovely clean boot. I know Truman gets a lot of hate lately but they sure do still make great boots.

Figured I’d take a little photoshoot of some of my favorite Whites boots, the Drifter collab series.

Just got a ready to ship pair of Double Stuffed Carrot boots (love them) and they shipped with the standard dress kilties. I’d really like to swap them for logger kilties in the matching Carrot leather, but I don’t see that as an option on the site.

I reached out to the customer service email and got a fairly generic reply saying it’s not an option, which is confusing to me, since if I were placing an MTO I could spec logger kilties in that exact leather without issue.

Has anyone here run into this and found a workaround? Curious if Nick’s has done one off kiltie sales for folks before, or if there’s a better channel than the general CS email to ask about it.
