I recently got this mint green embroidered top/short frock with a deep V neckline and crochet detailing (photo attached and got it in a local exhibition). I absolutely love it, but the neckline is a bit too deep for my comfort.
I don’t want to ruin the look by wearing a basic camisole underneath—I’d prefer something that blends with the design, especially the crochet/lace V panel in the front.
Does anyone have suggestions for:
Innerwear that matches or complements this kind of neckline?
Specific styles (lace bralette, crochet cami, inserts, etc.) that would look intentional rather than layered?
Color recommendations that would work best with this shade?
Also open to DIY or tailoring ideas if that gives a cleaner finish.
Thanks in advance!
