is this a baby??

so my spider plant has been nonstop flowering. she has like 4 long af stems with flowers everywhere and shes also making a big mess…. lol. i was wonderingif the ends of these flower stolons are babies? or is this just foliage. i know the babies usually grow on their own stick so i was curious 😂

Small leaf? 😭

I was away and had my boyfriend water my babies, but he missed a watering and the semihydro reservoir tray was empty for a little while. Now she is putting out this new leaf, but it looks soooo small lol 🥲 it DOES have MORE secondary fenestrations than the previous leaf (i took a peak hehe) but is it going to be smaller? i know the hardening off process takes a while and it DOES grow, but…. something tells me it wont grow THAT much 😂😭 so im assuming it was just a lack of nutrients issue when she was first forming the leaf. what do you guys think? i love her anyways of course, but just want to make sure im doing her right and im not missing anything else!

also…. iknow i postednot too long ago and people said that i wouldnt have to repot for a year. but im worried about the roots in the tray lol. should i maybe just try to readjust her in the same pot (once the leaf is done hardening of course), or do i give her a bigger one?

going away for a week.

went to water and noticed this girl deeeefinitely been enjoying growing lol… shes putting out her third inflo soon and a new leaf will be here shortly.

hence why im nervous to repot.

shes been in the same old thick mix from HD. i have tall orchid pots, orchid potting mix, big pumice, pon, coco chips, etc. so im ready to attempt a repot.

i just am questioning swapping her over to a more airy mix than shes used to, and the roots look really healthy even though theyre out of the pot lol. (shes been in a cover pot this whole time) should i just throw some mix in the bottom of the cover pot for now? i usually dont repot unless theyre showing signs of being unhappy (ive never had a girl root this crazily before!)

I have a cabinet in my bedroom that maintains 75-90% sooo easily, with a few less plants even.

but this cabinet refuses to keep the humidity up and i dont understand.

we discovered that the glass panes were on incorrectly, thus leaving big gaps in the frame on the top (because we bought it secondhand, already built). So we fixed that and were convinced thatd be the solution, but IT STILL WONT GO UP ANY MORE. 😭 I dont get it!!?!?!?!??

I have all gaps weather stripped. In between doors, along the sides where the door gap is, on the tops/bottoms of the doors. theres even tape on the little holes on the very top of the cabinet.

ive tried everything. I dont understand how my other cabinets are holding so much better with LESS plants too. am i missing something? 😭

I have a few anthuriums but theyre on the smaller side.

I have cabinets, but i do know that eventually some will get so big and ill have to do loads of rearranging (or they wont even fit in there anymore..) so i was wondering what everyone does when their babies get so big that they just cant fit in cabinets anymore! i have a baby queen that i just got (i know i have a while before i have to worry about size lol) but i also have a baby clari, a baby michelle, and some tc’s coming soon.. and i was thinking about where tf all of these are gonna go in the future when they get bigger lol.

what are your experiences growing anthurium in ambient humidity, just chillin on a plant shelf in ur living room? which ones do better in comparison others? give me all of your experiences, and advice! i have a palli incoming too that id obviously love to have in ambient if possible, since itll (hopefully) get way too long to stay in a cabinet forever 😂😭

pic of some of my babies for tax :)
