My bathroom is full of useful bottles
My bathroom decor is a pine cone, a liquor bottle, and a hair serum. No interior designer consulted, no notes taken. Somehow still the most put-together corner of my life.
Finally a movie about a man's emotional pain
For years, conversations around emotional abuse have felt one-sided. Bandar trailer sent a shiver down my spine!! Even if 1% of this is happening, can't imagine what that man must be going through.

Best PC purchase of 2026 might be an electric duster and I hate that I’m saying that
No big deal but I think canned air has been quietly farming me for years. I bought an electric duster after my last can went cold halfway through cleaning the front intake and just sat there wheezing like it had union rules and yeah… kinda mad I waited this long. It’s not flawless. It's loud enough that my dog leaves the room. It blows dust in places you didn't even know had dust. If you don't hold the fans you're basically auditioning them for a jet engine sound pack. But for the filters, keyboard crumbs, fuzz on the backplate of the GPU, edges of the radiator, all the weird gray stuff that gathers near the PSU shroud, it just makes more sense. The annoying thing is to find the best electric air duster. The bad thing is looking best electric air duster 2026 gives you a bunch of lists that all sound copy pasted by someone who has never cleaned a PC with a side panel off. Are we all in the "never buying cans again" camp now for people who actually use one, or is there some downside I haven't hit yet besides noise and accidentally dusting my whole desk?
Guys don't make fun 😭
I wasn't serious this time
Also I had added /s after the post in the body which definitely means sarcasm
How difficult is the paperwork side of van travel into Mexico?
The travel part honestly doesn’t worry me nearly as much as the documentation side.
For people who’ve done van life or long road trips through Mexico:
● how complicated were the border requirements?
● was the vehicle permit process difficult?
● how important was Mexico auto insurance?
I feel like every Reddit thread explains the process differently.
Passed IIA-CCSA Certification in Control Self-Assessment® (CCSA®)
I recently passed the Certification in Control Self-Assessment® (CCSA®) exam, and I wanted to share my experience for anyone planning to take it in the near future.
My background is in internal audit and risk management, and I work in the financial services industry. Before starting preparation, I already had some exposure to control frameworks, risk assessment, governance processes, and workshop facilitation. However, the CCSA exam still required focused preparation because the questions are scenario-based and test practical understanding rather than simple memorization.
One thing I learned quickly was that understanding the real purpose of Control Self-Assessment is very important. The exam focuses heavily on risk identification, control evaluation, communication, faciltation techniques, and organizational objectives. Many questions are designed to test judgment in real audit situations. For preparation, I mainly used official concepts and practice-based study material. Along with that, I also practiced questions from Exam4Lead, which helped me a lot in understanding the exam pattern and improving time management. The practice questions were useful because they covered different styles of scenarios similar to what appeared in the actual exam.
**My study plan was around 5–6 weeks:**
* First 2 weeks for concepts and domain review
* Next 2 weeks for practice questions and weak areas
* Final weeks for revision and timed practice
The biggest challenge for me was differentiating between similar control and risk management situations. Reading explanations carefully after every practice test helped improve my understanding.
On exam day, I found time management very important. Some questions were straightforward, while others required careful reading. I recommend not spending too much time on one difficult question. Mark it and return later if needed.
For anyone planning to take the CCSA exam:
* Focus on understanding concepts instead of memorizing answers
* Practice scenario-based questions regularly
* Learn facilitation and communication techniques properly
* Review governance, risk, and control relationships carefully
Overall, the certification was definitely worth the effort and added value to my audit and risk management career. Good luck to everyone preparing for the CCSA exam.
Do you ever hesitate to recommend cost seg because of the extra work?
I've had a few rental clients lately where cost segregation probably made sense from a tax perspective, but I still hesitated bringing it up because of how inconsistent the reports can be. Some are straightforward, others turn into a bunch of follow-up questions and extra review time.Do you guys usually recommend it when the numbers work, or does the operational side affect your decision too?
16.1 rolling when in nord 4

Best roofer in Jefferson County TX for storm damage repairs?
After the storms this year I finally started looking for a roofer around Jefferson County and honestly most companies felt rushed or super salesy. A neighbor suggested Dutchmark Contractors so I had them come out for an inspection.
What stood out was they actually got on the roof, took photos, explained where the issues were, and didn’t immediately push a full replacement. Still comparing options before deciding, but so far they seemed more professional than some of the others I called.
Anyone else here worked with them or have other roofing companies in Jefferson County worth checking out?
What are the top-rated duct making machines for small businesses?
Trying to track down a decent duct making machine for a small workshop without overspending has been a total mission lately. I wasted way too many hours calling local yards and digging through ancient forums, but everything I found was either completely thrashed or priced like a one of a kind collector's item. I actually went to see one used setup so caked in old grease and metal shavings I couldn't even find the serial number, yet the seller still swore it was in "mint condition" while the motor sounded like a dying lawnmower.
It is just so draining when you just want a reliable modern setup that won't give up the ghost mid job. I eventually fell down a rabbit hole on Alibaba to see what actual modern manufacturing looks like. Lemme tell you, seeing those listings was a total breath of fresh air. I found myself scrolling through pages of super sleek, compact units that actually fit a smaller footprint while still handling heavy gauge sheets.
I am still totally second guessing the precision though. Is it gonna be a massive headache trying to get airtight seams with these smaller auto-folding machines, or do they actually deliver the same quality as the massive industrial lines?

Getting a lot of questions about this lately so writing it out simply. A class action lawsuit is a legal case where one person or a small group sues on behalf of a much larger group of people who were all harmed in the same way. Instead of thousands of individuals filing separate cases against the same company, the court allows it to proceed as one case representing everyone.
Why it shows up in your email, if you're in the affected group, the class, a third-party claims administrator is legally required to notify you. Those emails often look like spam becaause they come from unfamiliar addresses with subject lines like "notice of class action settlement." What happens if you ignore it is that you're still bound by the outcome, meaning you can't sue the company separately later. but you receive nothing. The fund closes after the deadline whether or not you collected your share. I tried tracking these myself with claim money and tbh it's basically how I found the dollar general settlement, a data breach case, and the colgate kids toothpaste case for something I had bought for my kid. Current examples worth acting on are the dollar general settlement, the apple siri case, the instacart fees settlement, the beef antitrust case. All open right now.
I run a small B2B services biz (5 people), and this week a client casually asked why we’re still sending quotes out of Excel while they’re in Dynamics 365 Business Central. That kinda hit a nerve lol.
Right now we’re juggling invoices in QuickBooks, leads in a messy Google Sheet, and random project notes in Notion. It “works” but I’m spending way too much time copy-pasting and fixing dumb mistakes. I started googling Business Central + CRM setups last night and saw a bunch of consultants and agencies (Tigunia popped up in the search results too) that claim they handle ERP/CRM, reporting, backups, all in one.
Part of me feels like this is overkill for our size, could be wrong though. On the other hand, I’d love to stop duct-taping tools together and worrying that we’ll lose data if my laptop dies.
Has anyone here hired a small agency/partner to implement Business Central or similar for a micro business? What did you actually get out of it day-to-day, what did it cost, and what would you do differently if you had to start over?
I’m 46 and for the longest time I assumed stress was the answer to everything I was feeling.
Busy job, bills, kids, not enough downtime , it made sense. So when I started feeling tired all the time, less patient, mentally foggy, and generally worn down, I just told myself that’s what stress looks like in your 40s.
But the weird part is even during calmer weeks, I still felt off. I’d get a full night of sleep and wake up tired. I’d have a lighter week at work and still feel drained. Even vacations didn’t seem to reset me the way they used to.
I also noticed lower motivation to train and a pretty clear drop in libido, which I kept brushing aside because it felt awkward to admit.
My wife finally said, Maybe it’s not just stress, and that stuck with me. I booked bloodwork after that.
Now I’m reading more about testosterone and trying to understand how common it is for men to misread symptoms for years. Some guys say they wish they checked sooner, others say stress and sleep were the real issue.
I’m trying to stay realistic and not jump to conclusions.
Did anyone here spend a long time blaming stress, only to find out something else was going on?
