There is a lot of confusion why they would not do that (and I totally get that). The next "Sheep Tier", the Longhorns, benefits from thunder immunity but only grazes at night. WDYT?
^(v0.1.75 – v0.2.1)
^(Here is a somewhat complete list of recent changes for Path of Baa: Flocklands:)
Hildegard
A new shepherd has arrived! Hildegard offers extra trading options and she will gladly take your sheep for some shrub. Sheep sent to Hildegard cannot be "restored".
Auction House
Auctions moved from one post per sheep to a shared Mon/Wed/Fri batch system -> queue any sheep anytime, bidding happens on one shared post with a 24h window (max 200 listings). The post HUD now shows a live countdown while a batch is running, and once it ends you'll see "Auction ended" plus a timer to the next open. A dismissible tip from your controlled sheep greets you on open with a bidding hint (or the next-batch countdown if the auction's over). Inns also got an Auction thought that jumps straight to the current post.
^(I am not super happy with it yet - so might tweak here and there!)
Colored builds
Hay bales and barns now come in all 11 wool colors. Dyed hay bales build for 100 shrub, place freely just like natural bales, and can be recolored anytime with dye without losing build progress - you'll find them from trek rewards, side treks, milestone rolls, the regional shop, and rare grazing drops.
Free placement
Builds and nature items (fences, lizard, inn, shop, cart, big/medium Bush, and more) no longer snap to a grid or lock one-per-tile: they place freely within a tile like flowers do, with proper depth sorting in the placement preview, making it way easier to decorate and place things.
Oil, path, and water-rock placement rules still apply. Two new decorative curios, big bush and medium bush are buyable with GC, earnable from treks, or found while grazing.
Bag & journal layout
Your bag now has "All" plus finer category tabs (Flowers, Trees, Decor, Builds, Tools, Dyes, Buffs, Travel), and Settings -> Game lets you pick 1 to 3 inventory rows. Journal grids for Sheep, Builds, and Items now match the Flowers layout across screen sizes.
Flock formation Tap your bellwether, then the bell thought, to cycle your flock's formation (scattered, circle, triangle, line, square) AND your choice is remembered for next time you play.
Golden Clover shortcuts (new in v0.2.1)
Subscribe & claim The subscribe/claim prompt is now a single unified modal -> no prompt on your very first Flocklands arrival, then it shows once after the tutorial and once per game start until you Join & Claim. Toggling notifications off in settings is possible ofc.

In the next patch we will change how auctions work.
Instead of each sheep getting its own auction post, the flock will gather in one Auction House. You can list a sheep whenever you like, pick the sheep and a minimum price, and it's held for the next open.
Auction House opens Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 17:00 UTC, runs for 24 hours with one shared timer, and everyone bids from a single post (up to 200 sheep).
You'll only be able to have one listing at a time, but the old 7-day wait is gone, so you can list again as soon as your auction finishes. Once listed, there's no cancelling. Minimum listing prices are also lower. When the house closes, the pinned comment will highlight the top 5 sales.
Existing individual auction posts keep running until they finish. New listings join the Auction House from here on.

^(v0.1.67 – v0.1.74.)
Here is a somewhat complete list of recent changes for Path of Baa: Flocklands:
Sheep that end up overcrowded no longer just vanish - they run away and wander a random unlocked Flocklands region for 14 days. You can go find yours and bring home (costs clover, scales like a revive), and other shepherds who stumble across it can steal it for double (or guide it to the owners home). Your Shepherd's Ledger lists every runaway with its remaining time, and you get a 6 hour grace period to rebuild a barn before anyone runs off.
Rabbits! 1-3 of them roam meadow regions in 8 colors the way pigs roam forests. Adopted rabbits keep the exact color.
Adopted critters (bee, butterfly, dragonfly, fly, kingfisher, pig, rabbit) now show up in your Home Meadow, permanently.
Tapping a wandering critter no longer swallows the tap - your sheep still move.
Adults become Senior after 45 days and Gummer after 90 days. (this does currently have no effects)
Every sheep list has a tap-to-cycle sort wheel -> Alphabetical / Age / Color / Breed, and it remembers your settings.
Finished treks now open a claim popup showing the actual sheep you received - real portrait, real breed, real given name (no more generic bag chip for random rewards).
"Berry Picky" on the Path of Baa Trek now scales with your flock.
Red speed mushrooms can be multi-fed - tap the sheep again and the duration stacks up to 10 minutes.
Green and gold yield mushrooms must be fed to your bellwether. Same color stacks duration (max 10m); a different color is rejected while one is still running.
Thunder nights now reach your Home Meadow too - rain, lightning and storm SFX, in your own meadow and when visiting others. Lethal lightning strikes still only happen out in the Flocklands, so meadows stay safe.
Thunder nights also got a visual pass: layered animated rain plus ground splash particles.
Upgrading your meadow no longer reshuffles your berry bushes.
Expanding no longer regenerates oil lakes or cleared open-water tiles either.
Visiting another meadow now keeps remote sheep wool color and breed in sync, so a dyed sheep can't fake a "great match" anymore.
Survival ticking (predators) is paused during the mating cinematic, and sheep no longer get stuck in gates or fences afterwards.
Predators, lethal thunder and other combat deaths are frozen while any modal is open or a Reddit gold checkout is up - no more losing sheep off-screen while you're in a menu.
Flocks that lost their bellwether now self-heal automatically.
Sheep names now allow ø/Ø and single spaces between words.
Fixed the virtual joystick getting stuck ignoring all touches after closing a modal mid-drag, plus general camera improvements.

I hope you like the newest changes! And that's it for now!

One more thing to mention. It is summer! We'll be taking a break to add more visual features and continue (hopefully with a little funding) end of August to fill most biomes (paths, ground, animals, trees, flowers, etc) with a unique style and new elements that are exclusive per region.
For the following weeks, I plan to adjust smaller bits and pieces like balancing, feedback, and other QoL improvements to make the game feel smoother.
Baa-ya'll! Thank you and have a great summer!
