eBay's "newly discovered" RARE malachite purple mica symbiotic sphere... what in the botched Temu Frankenstein of crystals.... Also not the best gap filling job... ><
"Newly discovered" purple mica and malachite symbiotic sphere... What kind of botched Temu Frankenstein is this? 🤣 The gap patches... Just no. Sorry, just had to share! ><
Picture from eBay.
Thoughts on Crystal Confetti scoop? Would you buy it?
Thank you everyone for your comments! I was just curious! 😂

Sparkly light green to dark green aventurine pawsies! ✨🐾
Just a small humble 🌇🌆 sunset (almost rainbow) flash labradorite palm... Love the colour shift from side to side ✨
Hello and guidance needed, please? How would you lovely, talented wire wrap these crystal leaves, please? Minimal wire wrapping would be great! To use as pendant or wind chimes 💖 Thank you in advance!
Motorola edge 50 pro - Clear quartz sphere with almost sunset sunlight as light source behind
Asterism in clear quartz sphere! Looks like a glowing planet 😍✨ 1st pic light source is almost sunset sunlight hence clear quartz sphere looks golden.
1st pic light source behind sphere is golden yellow almost sunset sunlight.
2nd pic shows the wispy details in the sphere.
3rd pic light source is led light on the floor.
Unsure if the impurities created the asterism as I cannot see any needle/rutile inclusions in the clear quartz sphere.
Clear quartz sphere with asterism?! That's a first for me! 😍 First pic looks like a glowing planet (sunset sunlight behind)! 😍 Love the wispy details in the clear quartz sphere (2nd pic)!

I can't see any needle inclusions in the sphere but maybe the impurities causes the asterism? 🤔 Who knows! What a cool discovery! 😅😍
Before and after "hydrating" a parched and non-polished carving with a tiny bit of mineral/baby oil 👀
Blue Aventurine elephant in picture 🐘 u/Excellent_Yak365 thank you for the reminder for me to add this info to my post! I wipe a small drop of oil on this elephant then use a paper towel to wipe until there's no oily residue. Please test patch before applying oil on any carvings as not all rocks/crystals look good oiled up. The oil will eventually dry out so this is not a permanent solution.
No P Diddy jokes, please 🤣 unless it is actually allowed 😬
Moonstone x Sunstone (Belomorite)
Apologies for the re-uploads! Reddit keeps showing a picture/link instead of the video I uploaded before posting. 🥺
Name given according to locality in White Sea area - Below More in Russia.
Unnecessary trade name 😂 for plagioclase (peristerite) moonstone from the granitic pegmatites of Northern Karelia in White Sea area.
Trade names for silicified rhyolite/non-orbicular chalcedony/jasper (Ocean Jasper): Cosmic Jasper, Ocean Wave Jasper and Sea Jasper.
Credit and thank you to Lucky Moon Crystal Bar (TikTok video) for the trade names for these different types of non-orbicular Ocean Jasper.
Cosmic Jasper
Ocean Wave Jasper - A type of ocean or sea jasper.. without the orbs... Orbviously 🤣 Pun intended!!
Sea Jasper - Not trademarked because it did not come from the specific mine owned by Paul Obenich. Sea Jasper comes from other mines near that region in Madagascar.
Ocean Jasper is a trademarked name from a specific mine in Madagascar near Marovato on the Ambolobozo Peninsula of Madagascar. This mine is owned by Paul Obenich and all the mineral from this specific mine is labelled Ocean Jasper.
*Ocean Jasper is a type of Orbicular Jasper BUT not all Orbicular Jasper are part of Ocean Jasper due to its trademarked name. It can be called Sea Jasper as well because it comes from a different mine. Yep, can be quite confusing!!
Hope this helps in some way!
