AI certification recommendations for a backend developer

I'm a backend developer working with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Java and Spring, with around 4 years of experience.

My organization has asked me to choose a certification this year, but it needs to be outcome-based. The expectation is that I should use the knowledge gained from the certification to implement something useful in our project.

I'm currently considering AWS Certified Generative AI Developer – Professional (AIP-C01), but I'm still evaluating whether it's the right choice.

Looking for suggestions from people who have worked on similar things:

Is AIP-C01 a good certification for someone from a SAP Commerce/Java backend background?

What kind of real-world AI/GenAI projects could I implement in a SAP Commerce/e-commerce project after doing this certification?

Are there any better AI-focused certifications I should consider?

If you've done AIP-C01, what kind of project did you build or apply the knowledge to?

I'm mainly looking for practical project ideas with measurable business impact, not just a chatbot/POC.

TIA!

Looking for book recommendations

Hi All,

I got into reading last year and finished only the books in the picture. After that, I lost the habit, and it's been almost a year since I last read anything.

Lately, life has become pretty hectic, and I want to get back into reading. I'm looking for books that can completely pull me into their world and make it easy to get immersed in the story.

For now, I'd prefer books with a similar page count to the ones I've already read, as I want to build the habit again before moving on to bigger novels.

Tamil | M4F | 25 | Hoping to meet my person

Hi!

I've been lurking on this subreddit for a while and finally decided to make a post. Meeting new people after college is surprisingly difficult, and dating apps never really felt like my thing.

ABOUT ME

I'm 25, originally from Tamil Nadu and currently working as a software engineer in Bangalore.

I'm 172 cm tall (if that matters).

I'd describe myself as calm, curious and easygoing. I take a little time to open up, but once I'm comfortable, I can talk for hours. I'd rather go out and make memories than spend every weekend indoors.

WORK

I work as a software engineer at a product-based company. It's challenging enough to keep me learning, frustrating enough to keep me humble, and thankfully rewarding enough that I still enjoy it.

INTERESTS

Long bike rides are probably my favourite escape. I recently got a bike, and if the weather is nice, there's a good chance I'm planning a ride somewhere.

One of the newer additions to my routine is fitness. It's been a refreshing change from sitting in front of a screen all day.

I enjoy travelling whenever I get the chance, especially road trips. Some of my best memories have come from exploring places with no strict itinerary. Just good roads, good food and good company.

I'm also a huge movie lover. Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi or English—it doesn't really matter as long as it's a good film. I'm always up for a last-minute movie plan.

I have an unhealthy habit of saving restaurants and places to visit on Google Maps much faster than I can actually visit them. If you know hidden food spots, we'll probably get along.

I enjoy conversations that naturally jump between memes, current affairs, travel, movies and random late-night thoughts.

VALUES

I'm left-leaning and an atheist.

Kindness, empathy and honesty matter a lot to me. I appreciate people who communicate openly instead of expecting others to read minds.

Family is important to me, and I try to maintain a healthy balance between work, friends and the people I care about.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

I'm looking for someone around my age who's kind, emotionally mature, curious about life and genuinely interested in building a long-term relationship.

I don't expect us to have identical hobbies or opinions. I think respect, communication and the willingness to grow together matter much more.

Religion and caste aren't important to me. Being a good human is.

If you've made it this far and think we'd get along, send me a message. I'd love to get to know you.
