With the price of 308, am I doing myself a disservice by stocking up on 762? With roughly 50 to 80 cents cheaper per round on average, It has me thinking hard about picking up a few thousand rounds. I have a few hundred right now as is and maybe 500 rds of 308.

I don't hunt and I'm not a comp shooter. I'm strictly range/shooting out back for fun with an 18" barrel through variable 3-9 w/top mount RDS. I understand the range accuracy/pressure difference with the 308 but really is that enough for me to justify the cost? In the event I have to defend myself from a coyote or intruder, I'm not worried about letting 762 fly. And yes - my AR is chambered for 308 & 762.

Anyone else running a 4 Bros holster? I was recommended them by a few folks on Reddit and some Youtube channels. I received it a couple of weeks ago and it looked fine. Didn't really mess around with it other than putting the pistol in it, then into the safe.

Last night I was playing around with it and tried a wiggle test. If I turn it upside down and wiggle it a little bit (not too crazy) the pistol will come loose and slip out. It's a Hellcat Pro with a Streamlight. For comparison, I tried the same with my loaded Glock 17 and my other IWB (T Rex Arms) and it's snug as a bug.

Before I reach out to 4Bros, I wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue. Thanks.

Currently have a Socom II but the 18" barrel and rail are attracting me to the Scout Squad. I also find modular Vltor system on the Socom II to be bulky and ugly.

In an effort to save me $1700-$1800 from buying a Scout Squad - what are my options for modifying the Socom?

I've removed the bottom section of the rail system and it cleaned it up but it doesn't look like there's a top polymer stock section, under the top rail section. Digging futher, it looks like the barrel is mounted to the rail system meaning I'll need a top polymer stock.

If I strip the rail system completely - can I just buy a polymer upper stock section?

I can deal with the 16" barrel so essentially what I'm looking for is a Socom II without the Vltor rail system. I'll have to then dig around to see what my options are for an optic mount. New to the platform so input is welcomed. Thanks.

Had my live scan and basic questionnaire on 6/9 (San Joaquin Co.). In speaking to my friends and the guy who went through the questionnaire with me - they will ask about any traffic tickets I've had in the last couple years. I think the worst thing I've had in the last 10 years is having a tire hang out passed the parking stall line.

I just got a ticket 2 days ago for passing a double yellow. I wasn't speeding but the guy in front of me was going 40 in a 55 - not justifying it. I know the investigator will ask me about it but should I worry about this?

Just ordered my first holster from 4 Brothers but when it comes to holsters - are they all just personal preference or are there certain brands where I know I'm getting something good/comfortable for the money?

What I've quickly learned about this hobby is that social media now loves to flood me with influencers telling me their holster/sling etc etc etc are the best - but I'm assuming 50% of it is just BS.

I heard about 4 Brothers on Youtube and I like you can spec out your carry and they will ship a holster tailored to your piece. I haven't started looking for an IWB holster for my G17 yet but I'm curious about other recommendations from people who aren't getting paid for their review - specifically for concealed carry situations.

Now I’m asking people to talk me into an Echelon 4.5F.

I want something between my XD45 and Hellcat Pro. I’ve heard good things about the Echelon and held one today at my local dealer.

What are the pros and cons?

Am I missing out? I understand they’re known for quality and reliability but am I insanely stupid for spending $1000+ on a Glock 19 Gen4? My local dealer has a few 17 and 19’s, Gen 3 and 4.

Talk me out of being an idiot and paying double(or more) over normal MSRP. My other 9mm is a Hellcat Pro. Am I being a brand slut?
