I am just learning bass, brand new to it, and I'm just wondering how far along in the process does your spouse get a boyfriend? Should my husband start looking now, or does he wait til I actually learn how to play better?

Ginger candies haven't helped at all, but getting a strong (obviously non-alcoholic) ginger beer and sipping on it slowly really has taken the nausea down for me today.

I'm 9 weeks and still haven't barfed but I have horrendous nausea all night and day every day. My doc has given me a prescription for nausea but it only seems to make it milder, not go away completely.

Since the candies haven't worked, I've avoided ginger. But my husband reminded me we have ginger beer in the fridge and this is like the most relief I've had so far!

My insurance pays $1,000 toward a midwife. Everything else is covered pretty much completely. Is it worth looking for a midwife if I might have to pay a sum out of pocket? I'm in the rocky mountain western US if anyone in the region has experience with midwife costs. Anyone not use a midwife? How is the experience with/without?

seeing all the posts about worries about getting sick with fresh veggies and fruit while pregnant made me go look up the CDC's map tracking cases, and I'm honestly feeling a lot better about it now. there are fewer cases than I'd assumed! a lot of states haven't had any reported cases at all. definitely provided some peace of mind.

Breast soreness was my first symptom, actually thought I wasn't pregnant because my boobs are always tender the week leading up to my period. Now I'm 5 weeks and I feel like in addition to the non-stop hurting boobs, my nipples are ALWAYS hard. Anyone else experienced this? It's so bizarre! I knew they'd grow but I didn't know they'd poke out constantly

Hi! I'm a therapist, so in an office setting. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to style myself appropriately in a corporate, federal office job. I also hate shopping in person but trying to stop using Amazon/fast fashion (plus the quality is such crap most of the time).

Any recommendations for female office looks that feel goth but still conservative? And any recommendations for specific websites where you shop for officewear specifically? I felt like most of the websites listed on this page weren't really officewear type clothing, but I was also overwhelmed and didn't look through everything tbh.

How do I look cool, but not make my conservative old veteran clients keel over on the spot? Please help!
