Stuck Collet

Stuck Collet

Shapeoko Pro xl, compact router from carbide. I wanted to see if anyone has had this issue and what remedies they used to remove a seized collet?

My humble little set up

Life long Android user, recent iOS convert… and I’m never going back! I’m obsessed with my iPhone and Apple Watch.

Anyway, this is my first attempt at a little setup. It’s not perfect but I’ll continue to tweak it until it feels perfect.

Watch isn’t mirroring phones focus

I’m at the movies and I set my phones focus to do not disturb. I even added a silent filter. My wife is sitting next to me and I have her call me.

The call goes through and my phone vibrates. But my watch still rings. I want to turn all of this off. A true **do not disturb**

Mirroring is on and I have no exceptions set for this focus.

I am brand new to IPhone. So if this solution is obvious, my apologies.

While I’m at it. I have a ‘hiking’ focus set up to turn on at a set location. And that doesn’t happen. On either my phone or watch.

iPhone 17 Pro and IOS Model : 26.5.1

Shapeoko ID Help

I purchased this from FB marketplace and during the setup wizard it asked some questions that I didn't know 100%. After making a few test cuts and knowing I zeroed Z properly, I'm still having issues and I'm thinking I didn't select something correctly during the setup wizard. I got this feeling that the z travel, was way more than an inch during the setup. Anyway, any help would be much appreciated.

Please Help

I just applied my 3rd coat of wipe on poly.

I don't use finishes like this for various reasons.

Everything I have seen and read suggests this is basically, idiot proof.

I can't get a finish that is acceptable. I'm not even shooting for perfect.

This fucking shit sets way to quick. Either my rag is too dry or too wet.

This last coat, I tried adding just a bit more mineral spirits to help thin. And then I rung out the rag I was using.

I fucking don't understand dude. Please, someone take a moment and explain to me like I'm a god damn toddler. I have watched literally countless YT vids on this and everyone makes it look fucking effortless.

When I'm wiping on, there are spots that literally look dry. The white haze from sanding, is still there after I pass over an area. And my rag has finish on it. Which compels me to go back over real quick so it looks uniform. But then this bullshit happens.

I saw someone say "if you got too much in one spot, wipe it off and apply it to a different area"

Mother fucker....my shit is setting up way too fast for me to do that. It's actually impossible.

I am putting in days worth of effort and it looks like hot dog shit.

Nsfw for language. I'm sanding between coats and using old cut up white t shirts for rags.

It's ready to either be sanded and another coat or lit on fire at 2pm eastern. I would love some direction before then.

Thank you so much.

I have a raised strawberry bed that im refreshing and these metalic looking pieces are through the entire bed. I am almost certain I would have noticed these when filling the bed. Could this be any kind of plant material? I've thrown banana peels, failed tomatoes and carrots other things to breakdown over a couple of years.
