How good is the life in Lyon - Caen? How good are the quality of the University of Caen and Lyon 2 Lumière University?

Hello! I am going to apply for an Erasmus program in France and I have two options for that. First one is Caen and the other is Lyon.

From what I see:

-Caen has very slow life and cozy options with it's cold winter/

-The Univérsite Caen Normandie has barely enough informations about that. I am unsure picking that as an Erasmus program since I am from Vienna, Austria and it looks like it is not worth.

-I am lore like a guy who generally lives near the city centre (including the markets nearby matters), so I should not be isolated.

-How good is living the city centre? - Is it a problem that the Univérsite is located outside of city centre, is it bad?

Lyon;

-Arguably the second good city after Paris, or even better for some people:

-Too crowd for it's landmass?

-Univérsite Lyon 2 has better reputation than Caen Normandie Uni?

I am open to all any kind of things, please give me some advice, I am out of my mind, really.

Vanilla Classic is the best!

As a person who has started playing Vanilla Classic, who has always been wanted to start playing it but had no chance to get into the game because of fuking a game called League of Legends, I am just addicted to the game.

I personally think levelling is the best thing for WoW, and also I now see that the levelling is the thing that made addicted to the game during the era of 2004 and 2007, until the first expansion released. I do not care about doing dungeons, raids or anything. I only read every quest to experience the lore and doing them!

What did Jean Moulin do wrong?

I have been researching about the french resistance recently and discovered that there were too many side effects.

I found Jean Moulin, an iconic person in french history. Some say he was a true hero, some say he was a traitor. Could you please explain me his exact role during his era?

Has anyone here experienced the French Consulte in Austria?

I am going to apply the french consulate in Austria.

How are their speed paced? Are they fast enough to handle the applications? I couldn't find any info about them?

Could you share your experiences if you have?
Thanks!

Hello!

I have been accepted for the language school program called DUEF curricular. The next intake is starting in 2026 September but I don't know when we are going to take the placement exam and pay the tuition fee - should I contact with them?

Also, is there someone who wants to work part time for their study (yes I am international student), are we allowed to do that? I am curious about that because as far as I know there is no work thing on language school but since it is a trainning that lasts A1 to C2, and the pre-registration certificate states that the intake starting from 2026 September to 2027 May - I think we can work part time since we are going to study as a bachelor's or Master.

I am open to any suggestions that you could give me, thank you in advance!

I mainly use this PC for my university purposes.

I highly doubt that using WOW addons (yeah the most used one) could damage my pc - or block any programs that could lead chating for examscan programs for the university when we are examined online.

Yeah I am new to WOW and people say that it is almost impossible to play without them.

I am currently enrolled in Bachelor's programme in Belgium but due to the reason that my father's job we are going to move Austria very soon - so I need to continue my studies in Austria.

I am from a non-EU, so I have been extending my student residence permit for three years in here, Belgium. Ok so here is the thing, I am gonna apply to the study visa (I have an admission letter from an language school which is bound to an university in Austria (Graz) - yeah my aimed majors is offered in german).

I don't know if I will be granted for austrian study visa - I have some confusions about the embassy could think like why are you switching countries especially living here for three years? Or is it a good thing that I adopted and obeyed the immigrating rules there?

My financial status will be provided by my mom, so I will prepare other documents accordingly.

I will open any things and advices for this thing, thank you in advance!

Sorry for writing in english.

I am gonna spend my one semester as an exchange student in Lyon next intake. I am Austrian and I really want to get into the french culture. People say that there are better options than Lyon but the partnership program of my home uni is with Lyon 1.

I am open to any suggestions!
