Happy I got my first ever Gas multipler at Chase!
Just charing so others can feel happy about the new CSP changes!

Got an update today about Classic Green. Looks like it’s a 1.5% cashback card.
I am a Marriott/Ritz loyalist and just upgraded my Bonvoy Boundless to Ritz.
I'm curious about the Earnings and Awards page. If I paid for hotel stays with the Ritz Carlton credit card and selected all earnings to go to my AAdvantage account, would the following math be correct?
Earn = 6x Bonvoy + 2x AAdvantage miles + 2x AAdvantage Loyalty Points
Thanks in advance!
Ayase Ueda is a genuine baller. In 25/26 Eredivisie, Ueda scored 25 goals in 31 matches played. He averaged 3.3 shots per game and won 52% of duels. Not to mention, he scored a brace against Tunesia tonight at the WC.
It would be fun to have another Japanese player here, especially one with talent and prowess like Ueda.
What say you?
Chase just dropped the biggest CSP overhaul in ~5 years - same $95 fee, now 3x on gas + EV charging and 3x on vacation homes (Airbnb/Vrbo), a $100 hotel credit, and a Global Entry/TSA credit. Yeah, the Hyatt transfer ratio got nerfed and the anniversary bonus is gone but for everyday earn it's arguably better than ever.
So here's my problem. I'm running Schwab Plat + Amex Green, but I've also got CSR + CFU sitting in the sockdrawer wallet. After this refresh I'm seriously eyeing Schwab Plat + CSP and ditching the Green entirely.
Sell me on keeping the Green. What does it still do that the new CSP doesn't? And if you'd drop it, what's the cleaner 2-card core: Schwab Plat + CSP, or am I missing something obvious?
Drop your duo below. What would you run?
Just got an email about my unused Discover It Miles card. It's a very weak card that earns 1.5x (miles that are really cash) on all purchasers with no FTFs. The updates C1 will add to it make it seem like C1 is recreating the Quicksilver card but on the Discover network.
Here's what C1 is adding:
There's no info in the FAQ on whether the "miles" can be transfered to the VX. If it can, then this becomes another catchall card like what Chase has with the CFU; although I wager the earnings rate at C1 is more powerful if you pair VX & Discover It Miles with the Savor.
I am working towards AA Instant Status Match. I’m using United Gold as my base match, which parks me at AAdvantage Platinum. I have to reach 25K LPs by Aug 6th to finish Segment 1.
My BA directly-booked flight has helped me blow that out of the water. My initial calculations were totally wrong!
Coming from United, I firmly believe AA Status is worth the hassle in comparison.i wish I switched years ago!
🥰
I picked up an auto loan last year, so I'm sitting at 11 inquiries and gardening for ~6 months before I can responsibly apply for a Citi AA card. I'm also mid-way through the AA Platinum Instant Status Match, which I expect to complete.
For those flying AA without a co-branded card: how do you maximize value from the AA ecosystem? That could mean miles, status perks, lounge access, partner benefits, whatever matters to you.
What cards are you using instead, and do any of them feed into AAdvantage (e.g. Citi ThankYou transfers 1:1 to AAdvantage now)?
And for those who could get the card but chose not to: what's your reasoning for skipping it?
