Anyways, this was a very quick read. I started it last night before bed and finished over coffee this morning.

💯 worth reading, it made me rethink how I do some stuff at work and how I’m approaching personal projects.

Fall Flowers is such a good edition, one of my favorites. I’m glad I’ve got two packs squirreled away for future use.
The last 5 pages of Yosemite were sacrificed to keep my daughter busy during a Friday night Costco run this evening. 💯 worth it 😂

I just wrapped up my to do list for August, so it’s out with the old and in with the new!

With the 60th anniversary of Star Trek coming up it was time to bust out a fun one for the anniversary. I’ve got a Kokuyo graph paper inner that reminds me of Utility Graph.

Most of the notebooks I’ve finished YTD. Gonna have to start saving the covers on some of these because the full notebooks take up some room haha. There are a few that were snagged by my toddler and repurposed for her “homework” lol. But I’m using about 1.5 notebooks a week.

I’m curious, how many notebooks are y’all using on average per year?

It was time to swap out my travel journal so I decided on something ice cold to close out Summer.

I’ve been noodling on a few ideas for custom notebooks to celebrate the 60th anniversary of a certain TV show here in a little bit. This is one of them.

Finally had time to share some pictures of some new customs I’m working on. The black star chart is an edited version of a star chart used during the Gemini program, hence the Gemini spacecraft diagram. I love how the fall leaves look too.

I finally had a chance to start the “Maintenance: Of Everything” by Stewart Brand this morning and it’s a great book.

I’ve been scribbling away some random notes from it in a “Foiled Again.” Pick up this book if you get the chance.

On another note, it would be awesome to have a Kintsugi styled Field Notes edition.

I got a big order for this style of notebook so I took some time to knock part of the prep out today.
Now to squish those pages flat overnight, then staple and trim tomorrow. Such a zen process :)

I knocked out my monthly to do list early today so it’s time to cycle in my new daily planner. I love adding these moon stickers to the Pitch Black notebooks. Such a good look.

Apollo 15 55th anniversary notebooks 🙂

Happy Apollo 15 lunar landing anniversary! The Falcon touched down on July 30, 1971 and lifted off on August 2. Such a cool mission, the first with the Lunar Roving Vehicle too.

I love the Mile Marker sign at LC-36 so much that I decided to make a notebook with a cover inspired by that sign.

Printed on a glitter cardstock that (thankfully so far) doesn’t get glitter everywhere. 😂

I decided to see what it looked like to print a photo on Birch veneer and it’s super cool. The other is the second Cherry prototype I did with my drawing/tracing of the art deco design on the ceiling of the Kansas Aviation Museum. The deco design has cardstock glued to the cherry veneer while the birch just has a slightly metallic cardstock liner.
I made the belly band out of birch with the leftover material.
