Those with Games. Where do you wear them?

Seems a little too relaxed for work but a little too proper for a Saturday night out. Where are you wearing your corduroy suits? Are you mixing blazers with jeans or chinos?

Bought a ps1 - lots of disc skipping

I purchased a ps1 through Amazon’s refurbished program and it is having heavy disc skipping. Tried multiple discs and same thing. It’s super clean otherwise. Any suggestions?

Starting on a Burkart Legacy for piccolo. Thoughts?

Curious what others that have this one have to say about it. Could it be a buy it for life? Is it overkill for a hobbyist?

I dabble with flute but concertina is my main instrument. Previously played tenor sax.

Could have sworn the Tin Man pulled out a piccolo at some point?

I can’t find it anywhere but I thought that there is some media where the tin man pulls out a piccolo? Am I misremembering? I know he smacks his chest and whistles smoke out of his hat but I thought there was a moment where he diddles off some piccolo notes in some media.

Humidor for wooden instruments?

I have another wooden instrument and was considering buying a large cigar humidor to put that and my wooden ocarina in. I live in a 0% humidity location and so far I’ve usually kept my instrument in its case and thrown in a Boveda pack. The range is always between 30%-45% though and I’m thinking a cigar humidor could keep it consistently at a specific humidity. Anyone have thoughts on a cigar humidor for instruments?

Hind Ocarinas. Thoughts?

I wanted to get a buy it for life and was wondering what the opinion on Hind ocarinas are. I was looking at other ones like Focalink Stein, Oberon, Icarus, etc. (if you can recommend any other high end ones let me know). I’m not sure of a couple things. Should I get wood or clay/ceramic? I was thinking wood just because of durability and less stress when traveling with it. Also what is the “standard”/“common” range? Alto? tenor? C? Bb?

Mostly will be playing folk and video game music.

[FR/LG] getting a shiny in the game corner vs hatching equal the same stats EV wise?

I was wondering if I bought the one I wanted in the game corner at level 18 if that would be the same by level 50 ev training as hatching from a level 5.

I’m sort of dreading having to do 6 egg shinies. I imagine it will take months especially since this is my first go around.

What are we all thinking long term with this stock?

I have about $30,000 invested into UUUU and I’ve been asking myself lately whether it’s not money better invested into sndk or MU or the like. Semi conductors are really hot right now but I also know that energy is severely undervalued considering the major problems trump is setting up right now with the oil industry globally. It seems to me that we would see something soon… either the stock moving up but on the other hand I’ve witnessed the arduous climb that energy companies have in the markets. I jumped in on TLN previously and that had a good run but again not sure if UUUU can pull off something like that. I’d like some input for those familiar with the space about this.
