Does tarot not always initially reveal what I want to know about the most?

I've been doing tarot every now and then but I still don't have a solid grasp on the whole practice. I'm not sure if my energy sometimes spills out to the cards I read which affects the results, or if my intuition could be off.

Earlier though, when I was asking about someone I liked, I started the reading by asking how I felt about them. I was curious to see which would come up and if the card would be related, just as a way to double-check my pulls' accuracy as I've been struggling to interpret things lately (dunno if that's a thing!) The card that came out was indeed true to how I felt, but it didn't catch on to the romantic feelings I held for them. It instead drew my concerns about them. Again, sure, it was accurate, but it wasn't what was at the forefront of my mind.

I'm wondering if tarot works like that? It doesn't always answer with the main thing I want to hear, and instead reveals pieces? Asking as well because I've been pulling about this guy a few times and it feels like I'm being told only a part of the story each time.

T1d, gastritis, some unknown underlying cause of gastritis, and currently UTI

I’m only 20 and I’m dealing with so many illnesses. I’m at risk for celiac with it possibly being my underlying cause for gastritis. Or maybe SIBO, I’d hope its SIBO instead. The tests’s prices are no joke and I’m so sick of going through so many feeling like an alien specimen.

Is there anyone going through the same phase of discovering a bunch of illnesses? It sucks.

Chronic pregnancy-like bloating and SO MUCH GAS

help!! do these symptoms sound familiar to any of you?

i’ve been having this issue of chronic abdominal distention. it looks like im pregnant and its taking a toll on my self esteem :(( i think the distention starts around my ribs and the peak is around my belly button.

upon waking up im so ballooned and i feel so stuffy all the time. after eating normal meals i feel like i ate a buffet and stuffed myself. my stomach shrinks when i do enough pilates or drink hot peppermint tea but the latter also gives me acid reflux so im avoiding it. however, i still get bloated right away. initial diagnosis is gastritis and im taking omeprazole and its making the stuffy feeling so much worse.

other than this, i burp a LOT.

does anyone maybe relate and found out what it was? ive already consulted but i also want to get feedback on who might relate since even my doctor’s not sure which it is, although we are ruling out conditions

i just want answers and a concrete treatment plan😭

Is it just me or does Novorapid kick in slow?

Novorapid takes at least 30 to 40 minutes to work and its frustrating to wait that long. As a remedy I just schedule the times I eat and inject at least 30 minutes before. But, it doesn’t take away the hassle of course!

I can’t change my insulin because it’s what’s most affordable to me 🫩 I can only complain 🤐 Does anyone have any tips for this? Maybe there’s a magic trick for this to work faster? I remember that when I do walk after taking the insulin, it takes it only 20-25 minutes to start working but its still long.

Does anyone here also have celiac?

I've been EXTREMELY bloated and my stomach never resets anymore. I look pregnant 24/7 when I'm petite, so it looks funny on me, like I'm Vector Perkins from Despicable Me.

I'm suspecting it could be celiac. Testing it will be expensive though so I'm delaying the test a little. To those who also have celiac, may I know what symptoms you had?

Honestly, if it turns out that I do have celiac following a Type 1 diabetes diagnosis idk how I'd cope with it. It was already extremely hard accepting the former but getting two diagnoses within the first half of 2026 might just kill me 🥴 not to mention that I really, really love bread :/

Gaining weight after insulin therapy as a female diabetic

Newly diagnosed just this April. It's only been a month but I've put on about 6 kg. My family's been commenting on my weight change and I feel terrible. I've heard that losing weight with T1D can be difficult :/ Is there a chance this is just my body initially stabilizing and I can get back to being thinner? I guess I just need hope that I can feel confident in my body again, especially from fellow women diabetics with judgmental families.

Fasting and Achieving Autophagy as a Type 1

Hi all!

Before I knew I was Type 1, I would do OMAD and feel my absolute best. Also did 16:8 fasting with Two Meals a Day (TMAD). Kind of miss it because I genuinely felt like I was at the top of the world, and somehow, it felt easier to work out.

I mainly want to target autophagy. However, now with this condition, there are some very obvious challenges. Anyone here who still pursues fasts and can provide tips? Gracias!

Edit: for clarification, I live in a country with poor healthcare for diabetics. No pumps here. CGMs aren't subsidized so I can only afford them every now and then due to their price. Mostly MDI

Newly Diagnosed: I'm either high or low all the time + How do I balance insulin dosing with exercise?

Hi, I'm newly diagnosed and it's been really frustrating trying to manage diabetes. I know it's easier to manage if we do low-carb, and I try to be low-carb most of the times, but when there's desserts I want to be able to eat them. I'll adjust where needed, but I don't want to live a restrictive life where I revolve it around diabetes, if this makes sense.

Here's some of the problems I've been facing, and I really hope I could get some advice/suggestions from everyone:

  1. Lately, ever since I threw in exercise at night to my daily routine, I think my insulin sensitivity has changed. After eating dinner I usually go for a 30-minute to 1-hour walk with some pilates. I target eating higher carbs than usual and even reduce my insulin amount, but I still end up going low after workout. If not right after, I go low around 2 to 3 AM, even without a workout in the day. I'm also suspecting that my basal might be too high with my increased sensitivity or something. Then to treat a hypo its annoying because I easily spike to 200-250--also ruins my fasting states and I consume calories. Just how can I work out without going low?? Should I stop doing it after dinner?

  2. No matter how many units I dose and no matter how much time I give myself to pre-bolus, I always spike high (again, until 200 to 250--sometimes 300). My carbs are usually bread and brown rice. I don't even eat a crazy amount, I just eat 1 slice of bread and even then I eat it after my protein and fiber. Nowadays I try to pair eating with walking just to help my insulin activate faster and keep my sugar levels stable. I'm wondering if this is always the case if you eat carbs? Is there a workaround for this without having to walk after meals each time?

  3. Haven't really discovered my insulin-to-carbohydrate ratio yet. My doctor tells me to only inject 4 units all the time before each meal but after getting a CGM i realize how ineffective it is. I try adjusting my food to it but then I still spike really high in between and I'd rather not do that and opt for the ICR way. Any tips on how to get started with this? Do you all have different ICRs per morning, afternoon, and evening?

,

In the long run I'd really want to keep my sugar levels in a tight range between 80-160 at most. Not that I wanna live crazily long, I just don't want to painfully die from diabetes-related complications. With my either high-highs or low-lows, I'm pretty scared complications will start showing up in a few years or something. My hba1c was 15% last Feb, and initially thinking I was type 2, I did low-carb diets and shit but still hovered around 215 to 350 for a long time before being diagnosed as Type 1. Overall I'm pretty lost and doing terrible with this. I only have a few days before my cgm gives up on me, and cgms in my country aren't subsidized--we have to pay for it out of pocket which is expensive so I can only purchase them rarely. REALLY hoping for some advice, sick of seeing mountains in my CGM chart lol. Thank you

HMOs for People with PECs (Type 1 Diabetes)

Hello! Are there any HMOs you would all recommend for people with pre-existing conditions, particularly Type 1 Diabetes? If not HMOs, maybe programs? I know options are extremely narrow, but I am trying to seek info as much as I can : )) I am new to the world of finance and investment, but paying P15K+ for medicine and check-ups the past quarter has me wanting to learn more. I'd be needing quarterly check-ups and consultations, and I'm honestly overwhelmed on where to keep searching. Thank you!

Newly Diagnosed Type 1: How Did Your Endo Teach You to Dose?

Hello, I'm a newly diagnosed T1 from the SEA (if that matters lol... I think we have lower cases of T1D). My C-Peptide is still at 1.15. However, I tested positive for GAD. Since I'm not over 30 years old, I've been classified as Type 1 instead of LADA.

My endo told me to dose a consistent amount of units of insulin before each meal which is currently 5 units. She doesn't advise me to do a correcting dose when my sugars are high. She also tells me to avoid changing my bolus dose. I was wondering if this is the norm if you're newly diagnosed? I heard everyone else does the insulin-to-carb ratio. I'm quite scared I'll endanger my health if I stray from her advice.

Also, since I'm still producing insulin, I don't want to inject myself multiple times a day. I notice my blood sugars are still within range 2 hours after meals even without insulin, especially when the meal is low-carb. Hypothetically, is it not possible to only inject basal for the whole day if I'm eating low-carb meals and stay in range, or is it dangerous somehow? Or if not basal, is it okay if I just bolus for one meal (particularly for dinner which I know will raise my sugars more uncontrollably)

For context, I live in a country where cgms are extremely expensive and not covered by insurance, and pumps are nowhere near accessible due to their price

Hello. I'm a 20 year old who just got diagnosed with LADA/Type 1 Diabetes. Basically my pancreas can still produce insulin but at some point they won't. We all know how healthcare works in the PH. Insulin is so expensive. I honestly feel so hopeless about catching an autoimmune disease at such a young age. Putting it here also to break the stigma-no, this isn't diet-related. I am actually pretty lean.

Is there anything I should know to save money, especially on insulin and tools? I really don't want to spend an additional monthly 5K (minimum) on a disease, especially in this economy. Also, let me know if there's a community for Type 1 diabetics please :'' )

(I hope moderators accept my post, this isn't something asked about often)

Edit: Ever since I got diagnosed, I've been facing a lot of stigma even from my family, saying that I brought this upon myself, even though I really didn't. It's already difficult to cope, and an unsupportive background sure doesn't make it easier. It's my first time discussing with an audience that understands this is autoimmune, and I appreciate that a lot. Honestly, same goes for Type 2. It's a pretty complex disease that nobody wants, and I hope people can be kinder. The misconceptions are extremely ignorant and harmful.
